Should I move from Pokerstars to FTP? Should I move from Pokerstars to FTP?

Because of the new raking system on stars. But Stars still have much more fishes than fulltilt. Should I just stay at stars and try to become a better player to overcome the new rake?

I'm asking myself the same question because of the New Rush Poker. Does anyone know if PokerStars intend on making their own version of it? ... Thanks

Pokerstars pros
-more traffic, more fishes.
-still have my stellar rewards to complete.
-better customer support.

cons
-new rake
-no rakeback

Fulltilt pros
-rakeback

cons
-less traffic and rush poker = less fishes.
-less customers support.

it all depends what stakes you are playing and how much volume you are putting in. If you are looking to build a bankroll and play anywhere from 10NL-50NL and aren't going to be able to push out supernova usually it is better to take FTP +rakeback for max value. The games from what I have seen aren't that much softer unless you are playing 2NL or 5NL because of how deep you can buy in against fishes. Usually when you hit 100NL+ and are pumping out the hands you can move to PS to push supernova or possibly SNE

one other pro for FTP is their better software and they actually give players what they want with each update.

Why not to try a poker room that offers better rakeback with even more fish than Stars and Fulltilt could ever offer?

obviously he is stuck on thinking the sites with most traffic have most fish

best option is to try out full tilt for say a week and then decide from there. if you are playing 2nl, 5nl or aiming for supernova, then play at stars. if not then play at full tilt.

im in the transition between 5nl and 10nl and i moved pretty much my whole roll to full tilt several days ago. another problem is the messed up buyin tables at 10nl plus.

Totally agree with that last post.

I bet ft has better tables overall at 10nl now.

From what I know, they started raking the micros, 1c rake for every 20c in the pot. I'm sure someone else can confirm/deny this since I'm not 100% sure

just because stars lists 1 person playing 24 tables as 24 people in the lobby doesn't mean they have more traffic.

play at FTP IMO. playing nl5 every 20k hands = ~$40 in rakeback. That's huge compared to what you get at stars playing low.
