If they kept the funds segregated this would never have happened instead they prolly got interest on our money (yes im from europe but I stake some US friends that why im angry), I mean scott matusow how can he make such a statement, this guy is either talking from his ass or got some knowledge about this that even FTPDoug ain't aware of...

They need to provide proof the money was really seized imo. These are foreign bank accounts in sovereign, foreign countries in places like Switzerland, Luxemborg, Hong Kong, etc.

Where is the proof the money is seized/restrained and this isn't just some excuse?

Why hasn't the DOJ had a press release announcing the hundreds of millions that FTP alleges they have seized from them?

Everyone says they have to rake Euro money to pay Americans... Do you really think they have Euro money in their account? What exactly are they raking? if they have the funds of like 52% of their players on hand, and since they already shot our money off then wouldn't they would have used the Euro money to pay off US players already if they had it?... again, what exactly are they raking?

FTP isn't responsible for the overall situation, but they are sure as hell responsible for the poor business decisions (no/poor/misleading communication, lack of segregation or protection of player funds, floating loans to players when deposits weren't going through, poor accounting and customer service) that have turned a bad situation into something exponentially worse.

Maybe you should check out the list of bank accounts that were seized by doj, it was made public by DoJ. By my count they seized many more accounts owned by FTP than by PS.We dont know the amounts, but there were lots of euro bank accounts involved as well. We can speculate all we want, but I doubt there was only lunch money in couple 10s of bank accounts that were seized.

How do they plan on raising capital, who in their right mind is going to invest in an indicted company facing 1billion in fines and besides the DOJ other countries might be investigating them. Sounds like a great investment to me
