What about withdrawals for non-US players? They didn't even specify Moneybookers in this noannouncement.

(Still UK,Canada & Australia only?)

You would have to be a complete idiot to deposit at FTP right now. They have shown that they do not keep the balance of your funds secure to cash you out. Let these pieces of **** rot in jail for 20 years! Enjoy American prisons you thieves....we call them "pound you in the a$$" prisons for a reason. Sleep well scam artists! Enjoy being someones girlfriend for the next twenty years you fuching punks!

Moneybookers still not working, local bank transfer takes 6+ weeks... you gotta be kidding me!

Give me my money, so I can fully go over to stars!!!

I'm playing in the UK and since BF have cashed out twice from FT, both via bank transfer and both taking about 1 week max, worth noting that one of those withdrawals took place over 2 bank holiday weekends here, so was infact done in about 3 business days. Seriously, have you even tried a bank transfer b/c its **** working, I also know people in the UK who have withdrew to MB and have had funds in their accounts within a few hours.

MB works in some countries, UK is one of the few that it works in.

What many US players forget is that most non-US players can just deposit, play and instantly cashout to Neteller (i.e. no need to hold any balance their for any length of time). So a LOT less risky to play there.

"So if a bank account with $60 million is frozen, they have immediate liquidity issues."

Then they are lying to us every time we read their statements that say "your funds are secure".

a mass exodus or the US Gov't are the only things that will bring FTP right now
you still don't get the point: AP/UB was cheating scandal, they don't short of cash. FTP is broke, if you pay attention to every poker site that eventually went down in the past, they all started with withdraw problem (cash flow problem), more players to make withdraw, and eventually, they have to shut down.

We all see that, during the course of broke process, there are always people stated that players should state and play to save the poker stie, we all understand the point but that is just good wish, because most of players will not follow, they just try to get out their money as faster as possible, this is just business nature, once you start to go down, then you are going down even faster...

And history tells whoever gets their money out first and faster, will be on the safe side (be winners), those who will stay will eventually lose their money because their effort will not make big difference against the main flow....

Unless, there will be some magic things happen soon, FTP will go down faster and faster, it has lose player base in 4 week in a row, and in past consective three week, each week, FTP lost more than 5% player base, after this news, you can safely guess there will be further big lose for weeks to come...

But good luck every one!

Ofcourse they are lying, FTPDoug lied to us last post that the funds were segregated which they obviously aren't.

you don't know how much $ they have, you only know that it is less than what they owe US players...they aren't "broke" as they are still operating...and the main reason (seems likely to be the only reason, but i have no proof of that) that they are short on cash is b/c they had a lot of cash seized by the DOJ. the DOJ seized that money because they were doing business with US banks and US customers--since they aren't doing business with US banks and US customers anymore, the players accounts aren't at risk for seizure. they didn't spend all of the money, and i think it's really dangerous how many people are treating the situation as if that is what happened.

Okey, let's say that was the case that all the player money infact was seized by the DOJ, then why don't FTPDoug just say that so all know that they have enough money to cover the player funds but have to wait until they get it back, I think they have far from the money needed to cover the US players cashout.

i'm not their lawyers, so i can't answer for them...but i'd guess that they didn't say that because they do not think they will be able to get that money back. obviously they don't have the $ now...but people who are saying they are scum need to understand WHY they don't have the $...that is being completely ignored by far too many people.

FTP would never admit to such a thing because they want more suckers to deposit cash so they can steal that too! FTP DOUG is not our friend folks...he is just another tool used by thieves to try to steal more money and then lie about it.

The point here is most of players wish other to stay and play, when theyselve try to get their funds out of FTP at mean time.

Good luck every one!

Are they using non-us players deposits to process the non-us cashouts? If they lose non-us players trust now (cashout rush) theyr'e done, right?

How did the DOJ manage to only freeze US players' money. FTP had US player balances sitting in certain accounts not mixed with anything else and those are the accounts the DOJ went after? I'm sure it's possible that's the case. Just seems to me like some people from other countries would've had their money frozen too. Or that some of the money would've been something else.

Or, maybe the DOJ has not actually frozen any of the actual US player funds. FTP just does not feel compelled to give the $$ back yet. What does FTP get in return for giving all the US players there millions of dollars back? Absolutely nothing. Everyone will cash out and likely not play there again ever.

On the other hand FTP can hold these millions of dollars another month, or 6 then return them. They lose nothing, but gain months of interest on all that $$$. They have already lost the good will of most americans. There is a huge incentive to stall as long as possible IMO and less of one to return the $$ ASAP.

Has anyone SEEN proof or a statement from FTP saying player accounts $$ has been frozen/confiscating? I read about it on 2+2 daily but its all just a rumor, correct?

serriously? you dont think what they're doing damages their image elsewhere and causes less people to play there worldwide? have you seen what the weekly traffic is doing? we need ftp to fix this while at the same time running their business (including marketing, software updates, etc) so they remain/become viable.

this thread

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/29...t-atm-1042074/

is scary in that the one way to ensure that we dont get our money is if their traffic dries up.

I have been trying really hard to explain this but the collective reasoning in this thread is nonexistent.
