doug, i suggest you find another job. I dont know if you had anything to say about this software but if you did you should be booted along with everybody als at ftp even remotely involved with this piece of **** work. If your not involved its better to leave, you cant expect a company as big as ftp to work like this.

You let people test your beta software without giving them anything in return and what does ftp do? Release a completely different version buggy as hell.
Instead of focusing on security aspects and a proper cash filter (e.g. Focus on what your clients want) ftp comes up with the clever plan to rewrite everything to the qt framework and implements stupid svg graphics nobody wants.

Your management sucks, your developers suck, your support sucks and your testers suck... I wonder if there is any department in ftp that doesnt.

And instead of explaining why you f*cked up and role back the old client asap ftp anounces software improvements and you make posts about your new great superfast client.

One big f*cking joke

Re: FTP Update 7/9

I don't understand how Pokerstars updates their VIP program to boost 6max rakeback by ~20%... and Full Tilt responds by updating their software and breaking everything.

How does a multi-billion dollar corporation make this mistake?

Re: FTP Update 7/9

Roll this garbage back. I've got too many problems to list, running XP SP3. I'll hit the highlights:

1) Random freezing

2) Can't check the "Fold" check box (or any other check box), have to wait for the button to appear. Checking the box locks up the client.

3) Can play about 10 minutes and then the lockups get so bad I have to shut it down.

4) Cards and graphics appear okay with one exception: At the end of the hand, instead of the chips going to the winning player and then cards disappearing and then the next deal happens, it just freezes for 5-10 seconds, then everything disappears, then the next deal. No biggie, but weird behavior I've never seen before.

Re: FTP Update 7/9

I know people think emailing support@fulltiltpoker.com is a joke, but its better than nothing.

Can people mail them and ask if we can get a download link for the old client and be allowed to connect with it for a few months until the kinks in this new client are worked out. I dont see any reason why the old client shouldnt be able to work just fine in parallel with the new.

Re: FTP Update 7/9

Seriously how many people are they losing by doing this ****ty update. Why not let us play on the old client until you get it figured out? How hard is that?

Complete opposite for me. I've never had lag issues until today after installing this second update (I did not play yesterday with the original update). I'm lagging really bad and the client has crashed on me.

Can't play.
