Re: FTP rakeback for existing accounts finally happening

looks like FT just allowed players who weren't under any affiliate, to receive rakeback........chances are......if you were referred by an affiliate who doesn't offer rakeback......you wont be getting an email.......

fwiw....i don't think its a scame

Re: FTP rakeback for existing accounts finally happening

This doesn't really make sense to me.

A.) FTP has been staunchly opposed to giving existing players a way to get rakeback and B.) What's so special about rakebackpros.com? Why do they get to sign up existing players and not the other countless FTP rb affiliates?

But, then again, it would be really dumb of rakebackpros.com to send out this email without concent of FTP affiliate department. Someone have a vendetta against them, trying to get them in trouble?

Re: FTP rakeback for existing accounts finally happening

This has to be a scam. The rakebackpros site is just using this to generate interest in their new rakeback site.

Its a scam, it tells you to create a NEW ACCOUNT, and then will credit your acct each month if over $5 if not will be "written off"

Re: FTP rakeback for existing accounts finally happening

Well, since the people forwarded the mail to FTP one of two things should happen:
A) It's a scam and rakebackpros will lose their affiliate license and all of their profits.

B) It's for real and they'll be the richest affiliate around very shortly.

And if it's (B) FTP should really explain why they can do it and nobody else can.

I'm going to keep watching to see the outcome of this one it should be fun

It is too a scam, I contacted them and you HAVE to create a new acct, as well their own site tells you while filling out the form to create a new acct and use their affiliate code in the new account setup.

Re: FTP rakeback for existing accounts finally happening

I signed up my existing account with rakebackpros after getting the email today. I contacted their support and they said I didn't need to re-download the software or create a new account or anything -- that I was all set and my stats should be updating tomorrow.

I really doubt it's a scam, seems like they've got an arrangement with FT. I have in the past contacted FT to see if there was any way I could get rakeback and they said they had something in the works.

Re: FTP rakeback for existing accounts finally happening

very suspect imo.

Seems to me if FT was allowing this, FTP Doug would be starting a new answers thread to announce it, considering hes been badgered about this subject repeatedly in those threads.

wouldn't you think FTP Doug would start a thread about this regardless of whether rakebackpros was legit or not? him not commenting at this point probably means he has not had the time to do it or is unaware of these discussions.

Re: FTP rakeback for existing accounts finally happening

This is a SCAM. Full Tilt would not tell you which affiliate to sign up with. Somebody PM FTPDoug and have the affiliate banned.

Re: FTP rakeback for existing accounts finally happening

I emailed support at rakebackpros.com also and this is what I got back from them...

"Full Tilt Poker is trying to accommodate players who are unable to get
rakeback on Full TIlt Poker. Currently they are testing a small amount
of players with us
, and hopefully we will be able to handle more in the
coming months. We just were able to move a batch of players that they
sent emails to. If you were not on that list, i will keep your player
ID and request you be put on the next list.

Regards,

Joe

RakebackPros.com"

If this is true the bolded area (I bolded it) might explain why 1) FTPDoug hasnt commented on the issue and 2) Why they are only allowing this one affiliate at this time.
