ok heres the concrete evidence i wanted... went to my bank and had them call and confirm the funds were in place in the account in which my withdrawal was cut
the checks from this place seem to be just fine!

hmm I went to the bank today in regard the 1500 check of issue. It seems like it cleared.
So I have the 1500 sitting in my BA right now and the same 1500 that FTP redeposited to my account saying that check was no good plus 200 bonus and 100 extra.
Should the bad check be noticed immediately or do some banks take longer in identifying this?

It may or may not be noticed immediately, My bank usually takes around 4 days for it to notice a bad check

They just ingore my emails. Except for one on another email acct which asked about deposit options...that got answered in an hour.


Awful but there is no incentive for FTP to change. Tons of people on last night generating tons of rake. No wonder they dont answer my emails or sweat it...,they could decide not to pay me (maybe they did) and nothing would happen.

Dabs, just wondering if they sent you an email letting you know if your checkfrom 6/18, which they cancelled, was not going to be affected by the check clearing debacle?

I had the same email on 7/3, cancelling my and reissuing my 6/19 check. Then I get an email on 7/10 letting me know my 6/19 check should be good.

all i know is they say the rest of the checks should be good but here i am still waiting on checks overdue that they claim are fine. whats the deal here. it looked like they were figuring this stuff out there for about a 3 hour window.lol

BS! my check bounced...if Ftp was my car insurance im moving to geiko..wtf!?!?

Question....is this only happening to American banks/institutions? ?? ?

Theoretically, speaking would having an account in another country alleviate this problem? is it just US banks..anyone?

Thanks to this incident by Full tilt I now must get another bank. My local credit union has always question my checks when I deposit them. Two of my checks came back nsf and now they are closing my account. Long story short...I now need to find a new bank. Does anyone here have an account at US bank, M&I bank, Wells Fargo, or Associated bank and not been questioned about your checks?

Ok I added a joke to the end of my last post that Mr. Haven didn't like. As I said, I have to keep repeating myself here. Please read:

"I see many people out there are getting account credits yet their NEVADA PROCESSOR check did not bounce. I think the answer to this is simple. FTP has no clue what checks from that group are actually going to bounce. I assume they estimated when the processor bank account was shut down and subtracted a few days to be safe. That said, if you read the zillion posts I've read, I think it is safe to say if you deposited a NEVADA check before and including June 23rd (possibly the 25th), it will clear. So there will be A LOT of people getting paid twice for this fiasco. If you're honest, you'll return the funds.

BTW the check clearing house works over a 4 business day cycle. Most bounced checks are known within four business days. Under unusual circumstances such as this case a return can take up to 7 business days. Anything longer then that I think you are safe. It didn't help that this mess happened over 4th of July which certainly slowed the entire system down."

Also, I know personally several people cashing the other checks just fine.

I just recieved an e-mail from Full Tilt informing me that for checks, I can only withdraw up to $3,000 per week now. This is pretty brutal for me as a professional. I may need to start saving up and doing wires. Ugh.

Edit: Oh and I forgot the best part of the e-mail: I told the rep that I dont appreciate having my weekly check amount lowered from $5K to $3K. His response: I could check out the many other withdrawal options Full Tilt offers. LOL, none of the other withdrawal options work and he knows it. What a douche.

Processor: Not the bad one.

I never got the e-mail from FT that there was a problem with my check, and I never got a bonus offer; hopefully this means that the checks requested from 7/2/08 were routed or shifted to the good processor(s) and won't encounter the same problems as earlier-requested checks.

so to update my situation, i deposited a check on 7/3 that was approved on 6/20 and it had sat in my checking account since the 3rd and finally today it came back as bad and was taken back out of my account

Yes if you deposited a Nevada check after June 25 it will likely bounce. Perhaps even as early as June 23rd or 24th.

Good processor obviously, and will be cashing the check directly at the bank it was drawn on. Fastest I've ever received a check, so appears that things are working pretty well now IMO.

Money refunded in my account last night, tried to cash out was declined.

Tried to request another check this morning, was told i was over my weekly limit in checks. Have not received a check since moving my play back a month ago.

Still no reply from support about the email i sent over 24 hours ago.

I got an email saying that the 6/18 check was not being sent. Ft gave me some juice and said that the new check was cut and SENT on 7/3.

Now I have not seen this new check and it is 7/11. I live in a major Us city and get my mail fast. If it was sent on the 3rd like the email said, I should have it.

I got an email update today stonewalling saying nothing we can do its not the 15 business days essentially here it is.

i requested a $5,000 check on 7/8 and it was approved 22 hours later on 7/9. i emailed ftp support about the status of my check on 7/8 (a few hours after requesting the check) when i saw that checks were bouncing. i received the following email four hours ago:

"Hello Jonathan,

Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support.

Your recent check request for $5000 will not be affected by the recent check issue that some of our players are experiencing. If you require full mailing information, please contact us in 2-3 business days.

We hope you receive your funds shortly.

If there's anything else we can help you with, please feel free to ask. Best of luck at the tables!
