Ive been doing the check thing for a long time. It finally got too out of hand for me. I had an insane run of having to cancel checks (over 15 biz day delay) and checks bouncing. I finally got fed up. I did a wire. It took 2 days to impact my account with zero issues. I bank at a small bank and they waived my wire fees. Soo I am personally done with checks and will stick to the wire.
This thread reminds me of banks in the great depression.. when there were runs on money, the banks couldn't pay. Obviously FT is not FDIC insured.. worries me.
Waited a month to get my check and it just bounced in my checking account. I am waiting for transfers too. I'll have to do the wires I supposed but my bank charges quite a bit for those.

What type of wire did you use? What is the least likely way that fees will be added? I know that they will most likely all have fees besides the 950 max bank transfer.
How long is advisable timeframe to use funds from a deposited check? I've heard that after a check clears and hits your account balance, you should wait a few weeks. Should I be doing this with poker checks or am I good to use the money right away?
I just waited over a month to receive two just (around 22 business days) just to find out today that they bounced, the full tilt checks never come on time and when they bounce full tilt leave it up to you to try and get you money from them, the blackcard has done nothing for customer service
after seeing these posts, im gonna send an email demanding they stop payment on the check and return the funds to my account. then i will re wd them using a bank xfer which i hear is back running smoothly. (3 to 10bd)
im thinking getting a bad check from them will be very costly, and suspicious to the bank. any suggestions? will ftp actually stop payment and return the funds to my poker acct after this long?
Are all these bounces still coming from the same place.....I guess it's probably ok to say where now since there were posts concerning DOJ seizure attempts north of the border last week.
If so, then these checks were all probably sent out before this happened and I wouldn't even attempt to cash any checks from there.
If not, then this is another new and unfortunate problem.

just got a reply from support. the stop payment request has been sent to the third party processer and it will take 6 to 9 business days for the funds to be returned to my poker acct. really, wow. im snake bit
Same thing happened to me! Do they just put the money back into your account when automatically or you gotta email? Do they give you extra money like PS does or no?

You have to email.
FML. One of the checks that is going to bounce was a replacement for a check from September. 3months to get paid? (assuming next check doesn't bounce)
In order to refund the bank fees you must send them a copy of the statements with the over drafts, i just had 2k in bounced checks which took over a month to recieve, they sent me 30$ compensation like i even want it this site is a joke
I wrote FTP about a 10/21 check I never received and they told me there was an "error" with their processor and I shouldn't attempt to cash the check if I receive it.
They said the money would be returned to my account but it hasn't showed up so far....
I know these problems aren't limited to FT but it does seem like they are having the worst trouble, combined with terrible support. Consider alternatives, imo.
My latest check, received exactly a month after I requested it, deposited Monday, was returned by my bank today. I even e-mailed FT support before I deposited to ask if it would clear, their reply "your check should clear with no problems".

still havent received this $1100 to my poker acct, but after reading this thread i am happy with my decision to stop payment on the check, who wants this company's worthless paper anyway.
