It can accumulate rather quickly if you put in volume:

20 bonus medals for 2000 daily FTP's
30 bonus medals for 3000 daily FTP's
40 bonus medals for 4000 daily FTP's etc etc

which in turn can be cashed in for points or cash bonuses.

I'm still flabbergasted that there's people thinking the new rake system is unfair. How could you ever be entitled to MY rake (and the other guys rake, obviously) when I was the one calling his overbet shove on the river and win with A-high? Just by sitting in the cutoff waiting for those aces? That's absurd.

What surprised me the most is that they've had the old system for so long.

in PT3 for my last ~80k hands at 50NL FR Rush: 'Rake' = 72.86% * 'MGR'

but i think the 'Rake' column in PT3 is the total rake taken from the winning pot,
and that's why because "weighted contributed" method i will get much more less rakeback than (27%*'Rake')...

am i right?

Just noticed that you now get auto disconnected from FTP after being inactive for some time unless you click a button (you have 60 seconds to click it). Some popup, grace period is from whenever FTP came back online till now
Edit: Grace period seems to be 1h

Pretty sure this feature came with this update. Mildly inconvenient and possibly a small security risk because you can't leave your client running and have to reenter usernames/PW etc

Doug any chance the Black Card will become organized into different levels? I mean some of us have a rolling average of >5K FTPs, lumping us together into 500 pts or more doesn't seem very 'exclusive' at all.

I think it makes the client more secure because if you forget to close it and leave your house it will time out before your brother/mother/dog plays highstakes PLO and loses your whole roll.

one of these is likely untrue because most maniac fish dont have RB and the second may or may not be true at all. SOOOOOOOO YA.

So after being pretty excited about this new rewards system, I have found out that I will 1) be losing ~85% of my Iron Man medals per month, and also having my RB reduced ~20%. BUT IM GETTING DOUBLE PTS **** YEAAAAH.

The only "fair" method is rakeback on actual rake taken from pot winners, dealt is the second best.

Even if people would get a little less from rb, it's less of an incentive for rakeback nits to grind so it should be best for the games.
