this is pretty bad. do u have custom cards? if not which ones do u use.

i am using standard 4 tiling rush and i havent run into a problem yet.
I use a standard 4 color deck, no custom cards. I make the table sizes smaller because I play on a small laptop. At first I was gonna chalk it up to a misread, by far the most severe one of my career, but then the exact same thing happened again! The only misreads I ever make are 8s and 6s usually (Ive shipped 86o pre a few times) Now I am going to make a huge stink until I get reimbursed.

Has happened before, but because I overdrafted my bank account because their check bounced... I don't see why this situation would be any different.

This is coming from a player who plays an above average amount of hands (VPIP%, voluntary put in pot) I will not be making more money with this scheme I will be making less. Absolutely unacceptable. That and you are hiding this behind the black card promotion, running a promotion that costs me money! I expect you will remedy this but if not I will be leaving your site for Pokerstars in the near future.

Sent to the blackcard support e-mail (with a few minor changes).

Well if you really do not want your 3d tv and all ;P jk....

I couldnt agree more, although I am not holding out any hope of FTP doing the right thing here and reworking this mess that they created while telling us " just how fair they are to their customers "

I'm playing my last Iron day of the month today. I plan on playing the first 6 days of October on Stars, and re-evaluating from there.

Exactly like the pic in that post, I thought the 6 looked a bit off but I chalked it up to the software update... but there's no doubt it is FAR closer to a 6 than a 5. of course when I put the guy on exactly what he had and make a great ****ing call I get ****ed in the god damn ass.

For ****s sake just give instant bonuses. Anyone who earns 400k points for a $2000 bonus isn't just going to quit playing and stick you with the bill. If anything they'll have a hard on with all their new found riches and play more.

GL in getting a refund, but they're probably just going to say you were making an ace-high calldown in the first hand and giving up on the pot with the 2nd one. If you had called a river all-in with the 53 hand you'd have a much better case.

Anyone with some stars ssnl stats that could help me out?

Its been a long time since I played stars and it was mainly 50nl, but if I was grinding 100nl and 200nl 6max, how many hands would it take for supernova? I did a forum search and found a chart showing SN is 18k in rake, if I got supernova by the end of the year, how long do I keep it for next year? Just until february?

Also how many hands/hr do the 6max tables get? I'd like to average atleast 800h/hr, if not 1k (coming from rush), and I know stars gets more hands/hr then FTP reg tables.

Sorry if this is pretty basic stuff but I've been searching different threads and can't find just a basic outline so I can decide if I want to make the switch now or in January, or at all.

LOL...after this debacle, I think plenty of players would be taking their 2 grand and cashing out the next day if they could.

I could be wrong but my guess is quite a few. The thing keeping a lot of ppl at FT over pokerstars was the 27% Rb which was hard to earn at pokerstars without putting in a big grind.

It might come down to how 27% weighted contributed matches up against goldstar for a lot of micro players. Players that put in enough volume to make platinum star every month have an easy choice.

Really? Short it won't matter too much (huhu not at all obv.) but if you're playing a ton of 6 handed, and table selecting well, I'd be really surprised if your VPIP was higher than the table average (coming from a guy with a 33 vpip filtered for 6 handed).

At 8-16 to 30/60 the avg player/flop is usually 30-40, so I'm expecting a slight hit in rb. Overall I'm expecting all the changes to leave me with the same effective rb%, which is pretty far below my expectations for this new high volume player rewards program. I'll build some stats and post results in sssh to see for sure.

For one there is visual evidence of the problem and Im not sure how well these people understand poker but what the **** am I supposed to put him on to call with A high! I have paid tens of thousands in rake to the site and it's in their long term financial interest to give me a refund to make sure that i keep playing there. This isn't the boy who cried wolf, I am honest and have no history of this. I have been completely screwed by the software.

I think eventually a lot of people will leave, but you gotta remember not everyone's as on top of things as we are in this forum. Many people will take a while to figure out they're getting shafted, maybe email FT or their affiliate after a month of crappy RB payments and then get the real story. FT of course is counting on people never figuring it out. I don't think we'll see a real difference 'til early 2011.

For some of the less popular games (like FR limit, which I play) the exodus might be more noticeable. It'll be interesting to see what happens to my games this upcoming month.

well. I'm about done.

I am SN on stars. I play 100+ ftp's per day x 27-30 days per month on ftp to maintain gold ironman, get a lil rb, and play some mtt's.

Not a high volume player by any means on ftp. Just a regular play a bit per day type.

BC gives me no desire to go for that which I could easily do, but the value of everything is basically less.

weighted rake. THATS the biggie imo. I play FR rush. I'm a nit at heart. For the loss of rb it just isnt worth my time.

I'll begin looking for swaps to ftp for about 6k soon and no longer stake others that were contributing a % of rake as well.

gg ftp

Given how they have handled their rewards program, I think it's safe to assume they won't be doing things just to keep up with PS.

More data for the thread.

9-max limit, 22/15: -10%
6-max limit, 30/20: -10%
3-4 handed limit, 42/30: -1%

The whole industry's going to hell this year.

Play around with this, it's probably what everyone else who thinks this update is **** is doing.
