It's pretty safe to assume live poker guy told several of his friends (cause that's what people do), and that he's far from the only one. I wonder if part of their settlement with the DOJ will include their securing the right to go after all of those thieves.

edit: I kept reading after the post I quoted and clicked on the link to that other, 7-page thread. Now at least I know part of the reason for the delay. They were letting almost everyone float for months!

edit edit: what a HUGE mistake it was for me not to read that thread... I'm only up to the start of Feb and I'm already certain I would have done things differently if I had. I guess I only ****ed myself for a few months though. sigh

I had the opposite happen at fulltilt. I transfered some money and and was playing with it and about a week later they said the transaction didn't go through do to lack of funds. I told them the money was there and had actually made several transactiobns at fulltilt with that account in the past, they said no, find another way to deposit the money i owed them. Thing was, I had been doing business with the account in a credit union for 25 years, and I called them and they said, "no one ever tried to make the transaction".

They have some problems with their system no doubt. Now they have at least converted my step tickets to cash. So, I have cash sitting there doing nothing while they say they are working on the problem. I actually had no idea how to put money on there anymore since they refused my bank account and would not try it again. I had put money on and off of there from netteller, epassport, a cash america debit card, even transfered from a Doyles skin and lastly direct from the credit union. All those methods were closed off and never got the latest method they said to use something like "mywallet". I guess we'll eventually get the money, probably about the time I really didn't need it anymore.

Re: FTP Answers 5/15

hi doug!

non us player here.

israelis have very limited deposit/withdraw options on ftp.
click2pay is a great depositing and withdrawing method for israelis. click2pay accepts israelis and we can use click2pay on different poker networks including merge, entraction, bodog and ongame.
for some reason click2pay is not an option for israelis on ftp.
i would appreciate if you could take the time to look into this and get back to me. i know a lot of israelis are choosing other poker networks over ftp because click2pay is not an option.
please pass on that they might still have some kind of official restriction but in reality it isn't being enforced. israelis use click2pay all the time on other networks. all ftp needs to do is enable the option for us in the cashier and we could just start using it right away.

thanks!

Hey how do you know it's rigged? As far as I can tell everything matches up statistically. You should perhaps learn the game mechanics of poker better which may help you. Maybe you are trying to level us all but if you aren't I think it's already been said before "Lay off the drugz yo"

Otherwise, they could have just paid out withdrawals with new, cleared deposits- raked away, and hoped that the percentage of people actually asking for withdrawals did not exceed new deposits + rake - cost of business until regulation occurred, eliminating the issue and taking a one time loss.
