Why not reopen the store so we can buy tickets only? It'll make the process a lot easier. I would much rather be able to use my points to buy tickets (that will get converted into cash) than leaving them in my account.

I truly believe that any notion that they will be held in our accounts until americans can play again, is simply a ploy by FTP to skip out on having to give cash value for them. The management must realize that a lot of players are likely never coming back.

Doug : How come players in the US are not allowed to play freerolls?

Might be a legal issue there, I don't think stars even lets US players buy anything out of their store.

Letting us purchase our own tickets that we can trade for cash would be best though.

Re: FTP Answers 4/28

I know we're all frustrated and want our money back but accusing FTP Doug of not doing his best will not expedite this process. Yes FT can (and should) do a better job of keeping us in the loop, but if their position is to not say anything until they definitively know what's going to happen then all we can do is wait.

The last week has been hella stressful on us all, at least now we know that we'll have a better idea by early next week so there is light at the end of this tunnel.

Re: FTP Answers 4/28

I'd love to know if there are any plans to open up transfers for US players on FT. A lot of us have staking money owed back to others in our accounts, and it'd be great to know if transfers will be an option or if we'll need to start making other plans.

14. I'm very curious as to what will happen to players that made deposits that have not yet been collected from their bank accounts?

- At this point it's not clear what will happen here. We're looking into it and as soon as we know more we'll inform the affected players.
Vital questions had no answers, but it's better than silence.

This, thanks Doug.

EDIT: Doug, I want to mention a friend of mine lost his security token and has been stonewalled by support. He sent in his ID and docs but has heard nothing back. This is one of the problems with the "not saying anything" as a policy.

I know this is a cluster ****, trust me. I'm actually screwed myself. Just continue working as hard as you all can and know how much it means to everyone to get their money back. Also please make withdrawals available before trying to figure out the value of various promos and points if the figuring of that delays our ability to withdraw at all.

- I needed to get a very official answer on this one as well:

"Yes. But your existing account and balance will not yet be available on logging in. You will be required to provide sufficient proof of relocation, including your photo identification and proof of residency at your new address. You can then use non-US funds to play from outside the US. And, after return of your US funds, you will be able to use those funds as well from outside the US."
Okay, cool. It's not ideal, but it's understandable. I no longer live in the U.S., so I'd like to deposit some non-US funds and continue playing. But, how can I do that when

- There are a couple of issues here. One is for US players getting nothing back except for a generic template explaining the current situation (or, worse, nothing at all). This was the advice given to support by our legal team, so their hands were tied. We're trying to get more clarity here as soon as possible as to what exactly they can and can't say (as opposed to the current "don't say anything" approach) so that support can be more helpful to US players. I do apologize for the length of silence coming from Full Tilt. It's a sensitive situation and I think we probably were a bit overly cautious here.
is the case? It's awfully hard to get an address change when no one will look at your documents or process your request.

this, my backer stakes a ton of people, and his stable is all wondering the same thing. we have tons of staking money everywhere, and it would be nice to just transfer it to him so we dont have to cashout and then send a check etc.

No offense, but I highly doubt this is going to happen anytime soon. If they open transfers, what's to keep US players from simply transferring their balance to someone who isn't in the US in exchange for paypal or whatever?

Re: FTP Answers 4/28

Why is there a massive delay for non-US customers looking to withdraw?
50% (USA customers ) of your user base can't withdrawal currently so the delays for non USA customers isn't exactly reasuring.

I'm over 3 days for what used to be an instant transfer (and it still says processing) The BS response I get from support is you currently have a high volume of withdrawl requests which is surprising since 1/2 your player base just got wiped out and can't touch their funds anyways.

I have talked to several other non USA players who are going on 5 and 7 days now

Re: FTP Answers 4/28

Nothing of importance was truly answered in this post. But I must admit, this is much better than plain silence.

I just find it funny that some people said that this was going to be announcement about an announcement for an announcement, turned out to be true.

Re: FTP Answers 4/28

Better than silence so people really have to stop complaining...be happy something was said and it's obvious you will get your funds in the future

(Stupid question alert...)
Is the take-2 "pro-rated" promotion the $25?
