I'd love to know if there are any plans to open up transfers for US players on FT. A lot of us have staking money owed back to others in our accounts, and it'd be great to know if transfers will be an option or if we'll need to start making other plans.

14. I'm very curious as to what will happen to players that made deposits that have not yet been collected from their bank accounts?

- At this point it's not clear what will happen here. We're looking into it and as soon as we know more we'll inform the affected players.
Vital questions had no answers, but it's better than silence.

This, thanks Doug.

EDIT: Doug, I want to mention a friend of mine lost his security token and has been stonewalled by support. He sent in his ID and docs but has heard nothing back. This is one of the problems with the "not saying anything" as a policy.

I know this is a cluster ****, trust me. I'm actually screwed myself. Just continue working as hard as you all can and know how much it means to everyone to get their money back. Also please make withdrawals available before trying to figure out the value of various promos and points if the figuring of that delays our ability to withdraw at all.

- I needed to get a very official answer on this one as well:

"Yes. But your existing account and balance will not yet be available on logging in. You will be required to provide sufficient proof of relocation, including your photo identification and proof of residency at your new address. You can then use non-US funds to play from outside the US. And, after return of your US funds, you will be able to use those funds as well from outside the US."
Okay, cool. It's not ideal, but it's understandable. I no longer live in the U.S., so I'd like to deposit some non-US funds and continue playing. But, how can I do that when

- There are a couple of issues here. One is for US players getting nothing back except for a generic template explaining the current situation (or, worse, nothing at all). This was the advice given to support by our legal team, so their hands were tied. We're trying to get more clarity here as soon as possible as to what exactly they can and can't say (as opposed to the current "don't say anything" approach) so that support can be more helpful to US players. I do apologize for the length of silence coming from Full Tilt. It's a sensitive situation and I think we probably were a bit overly cautious here.
is the case? It's awfully hard to get an address change when no one will look at your documents or process your request.

this, my backer stakes a ton of people, and his stable is all wondering the same thing. we have tons of staking money everywhere, and it would be nice to just transfer it to him so we dont have to cashout and then send a check etc.

No offense, but I highly doubt this is going to happen anytime soon. If they open transfers, what's to keep US players from simply transferring their balance to someone who isn't in the US in exchange for paypal or whatever?

Why is there a massive delay for non-US customers looking to withdraw?
50% (USA customers ) of your user base can't withdrawal currently so the delays for non USA customers isn't exactly reasuring.

I'm over 3 days for what used to be an instant transfer (and it still says processing) The BS response I get from support is you currently have a high volume of withdrawl requests which is surprising since 1/2 your player base just got wiped out and can't touch their funds anyways.

I have talked to several other non USA players who are going on 5 and 7 days now

Nothing of importance was truly answered in this post. But I must admit, this is much better than plain silence.

I just find it funny that some people said that this was going to be announcement about an announcement for an announcement, turned out to be true.

Better than silence so people really have to stop complaining...be happy something was said and it's obvious you will get your funds in the future

(Stupid question alert...)
Is the take-2 "pro-rated" promotion the $25?

Doug,

According to other posts in the forums, people were buying tournament tickets until 4/20, which will now be converted to cash.

I hope the rest of us won't be penalized for waiting for official instructions and not knowing about/trying to take advantage of the ticket buying loophole.

I wish the DOJ would let us play on full tilt again so that I could have the option of refusing to do business with full tilt.

FOR ALL YOU AZZHOLES THAT HAVE BEEN POSTING ON THIS THREAD THEIR DIS-PLEASURE WITH FT'S answers today. SHUT the F.. UP. I COLLECT MONEY FOR A LIVING AND I CAN TELL YOU NOW THE 2ND MOST IMPORTANT THING BEHIND GETTING THE MONEY IS ANY COMMUNICATION, BECAUSE THAT IS THE PERSON OR COMPANY RE-AFFIRMING THE DEBT. Silence is the worst thing in the world, so the update of FT reaffirming that they owe us is great. Even though I would like to get my money now but can't I do love the update. So thank you FT and Doug for reaffirming that your are going to pay us.

These

I've had the money from Stars in my account for a day or so, and you can't even tell us when you'll let us have the money from our accounts with you?

Good to see something will be done with these (I just bought a $1k bonus before the hammer came down), but will be seriously ****ing pissed if the FTP points issue ends up with something like "we'll just keep them in limbo until some time in the indefinite future when Americans can play on FTP again".

The points have a cash value and we should be allowed to convert them to cash.

I'm reading a lot of frustration, but I have no issue with Doug or FullTilt. Clearly, all decisions and responses are being made by lawyers. Which is exactly who each of us would listen to if we were in this awful situation. The lawyers are determining responses, timing of return of funds, FTP, etc. FullTilt is still a multi billion dollar company, even without the US.

The principles and execs may want to respond and respond quickly, but they are being smart and listening to their lawyers. I expect to get paid in the near future.

awesome an other lie

4. but Moneybookers are unavailable as a cashout option

- Sorry, this was my mistake. The MB issue is separate from other issues, and we're working with them to resolve the situation as soon as possible. I don't have an exact timeline for when it will be available again, but we're hopeful it will be soon.

Moneybookers themselves said there was no problem on their end. Cant you just tell us you lost a bunch of money and dont want to pay via the most use processor on your site? Or that the account registred on MB was frauding?

Thank for update FTP Doug! I understand the complications but disappointed on the delays. My biggest gripe is with the US Government and putting all of us in this situation.
