Re: FTP Answers 10/15

Doug, FYI, changing the min buy-in from 20 BBs to 30 BBs would make a huge huge difference in the short stacking problem. Just thought I'd mention that if you didn't know it.

Stop implementing stupid new games and start getting the RSA tokens working. 2-3 years of working on it and you guys really believe it's going to be ready next update? Doug I know you have no say on this but please pass on that 95% of us here would do happy without any update for 6 months if you got the RSA tokens working.

Don't worry Doug. There is a clear answer for the fullstacker come January 1st.
Yeah, we really need to hear something about the shortstack issue soon. Glad to hear it's being discussed and on the radar, but something a bit more specific would be nice.

Just to let you know.. FTP lost five players that generated over 100k rake/yr. I'm sure half a million is not alot to full tilt. but i'm sure more will join pokerstars if shortstack fest is not handled.

If you think the shortstacker issue isn't the same (or perhaps worse) on Stars, then you're incredibly naive.

It's not, but that's neither here nor there. People are leaving FT.

What is the short stacking problem? (I only play MTTs so I'm not familiar....but I am curious!)

Shortstacks are ridiculously easy to avoid on Stars. Stars offers 50BB min tables that casual players enjoy, so there's always at least 3x as many running as Tilt has deep tables.

Re: FTP Answers 10/15

im sure my post got lost in the mix last time

please add some O8 fixed limit MTTs

right now the only options are the $5 O8 MTTs... and the $69+6 O8 MTT (which i think is monthly?)

how bout a daily or weekly guarantee somewhere in between? how bout changing one of the many $5s to $10 + 1? how about a nightly $24+2??

has to be something you can do for the o8 fixed limit players higher than $5... (i know i know... lol limit)

I will be moving the majority of my play over to Stars to start the new year if FTP doesn't do anything to address the short stack problem.

And yes, I am another 100k rake/yr player.

Re: FTP Answers 10/15

I get the invalid bet amount bug several times a day everyday because I play a lot on ante tables. You can reproduce the issue pretty easily if you just go and play ante tables for a while. It's a pretty annoying bug.
