Ummmm.... the big selling point of rush poker is that you don't have to wait for the next hand once you are no longer involved in the current one.

If you fold playing HU, the hand is over. Where is the wait?

That's not my point. Some players like to play deep because it's a different skillset and most people, especially fish, don't know how to play deep well. Casual players love to buy in for 50 bb's, not 75.

Could you explain how this works? Isn't HU already like rush w/o changing opponents? I mean: you fold and get a new hand. level?

Rush is quite funny and the games are damn juicy. Seems like it attracts a ton of fish.

The increase bet by SB is a great addition.

Re: FTP Answers 1/19

Thanks Doug, I was hoping for a big update since it has been a while since the last Q&A thread. Too bad I had to work from the office today, I would have tried this out.

BTW how is rake contribution/FTPs calculated with Rush?

Re: FTP Answers 1/19

Here is how I solved that problem so that you don't look at your balance when you either sit at a cash game or buy in to a SNG

I edited the file Pattern_Tall.jpg under
C:\...\Full Tilt Poker\Graphics\NewTable\Common\Misc

Make a copy of your old file(in case you change your mind), then make a copy of the image from the link below, make sure you give it the same name "Pattern_Tall.jpg" and save it under C:\...\Full Tilt Poker\Graphics\NewTable\Common\Misc folder

You can edit/remove the numbers on the side in MS paint, I use those to keep track of how many SNG I have going, also for that problem were one table would not open or disappear on me.

here is the link
http://img130.imageshack.us/i/patterntall.jpg/

here is how the windows would look w the new file

Therefore RHU would be HU with changing opponents. You fold and get a new hand and opponent.

Meh. Probably. It just bothered me quite a bit at the time, I was playing a RUSH table and was waiting almost 2 minutes for my opponent to act. Seemed very wrong at the time. Maybe there could be some other kind of solution. Later I was 4-tabling and it happened once again, but it didn't bother me that much. I suppose it's not that bad as long as you multitable.

Anybody have thoughts on automatically starting with exactly #BB's each hand? I think it could help with variance a bunch, seeing as you wouldn't have huge BI swings from AA vs KK, set vs set etc, and we don't know who the huge donators are so it's not required to keep our stack big to stack the fish. I don't see any harm in the option. I don't really know if it's possible to do it manually now(can't test now as I'm not at home). Could you normally just leave after every won pot and fire up a new one with our standard buy-in, or would you have to buy-in for how much we left with(as it is with the normal tables)? If it is already possible to do so manually, I don't see why it wouldn't be an option.
