FTP's previous business actions lead me to believe that. Ppa should shift gears from bombarding the government, to bombarding the DOJ with "help, help, ftp is not paying players their money"

i mean sure, we all want legislation in the future, but it should not come at the expense of so many americans and their families' financial life being ruined by 6months of non-payments. (this includes cashouts rarely ever working from january till now)
They siezed the funds that ftp would of used to pay players? What do you think doj would do to get your funds faster?

Tuesday & Wednesday plan:

Let's continue contacting mainstream media to ask them to increase coverage of our issue. Let's contact Fox News again. As they ran the article last week on this issue, we now something to which we can point. In other words, we can write, "I applaud Fox News for running the article on June 4th on the online poker shutdown and for the John Stossel special on the broader online gaming issue. I encourage you to keep covering this important issue."

Contact info:
Recurring actions:

Let's continue to own a lot of Facebook pages (senators, Congressmen, Congressional committees, etc.):
  • The House Financial Services Committee's Facebook page is here.
  • Let's get some posts on the House Committee on Energy and Commerce page (here)
  • The Dept. of Justice's page is here.
  • Senators' FB pages: Senator Facebook Listing
  • We need lots of posts on the issue of poker and lots of "liking" of pro-poker comments.
Let's all send the PPA pre-written letters to our lawmakers. These will be updated when Rep. Barton's poker bill is introduced to the House (in other words, soon), so let's all get the current letters out before that. Once done, please reply ITT with "done", "sent", etc. to encourage others. Thanks!

Finally, let's recruit others. Our personal recommendations of this effort will go far. The daily action plan takes very little time and there's no denying it's way +EV for the time invested. Once done, please post here that you made the request, along with posting your personal commitment to participate in the action plan.

Thanks!

Let's continue to own a lot of Facebook pages (senators, Congressmen, Congressional committees, etc.). Rep. Barton has cited our Facebook posts, so we know it works.

Imagine if we all participated in the Facebook posts! With that, let's all focus on this this weekend (and beyond, of course):

We are getting great traction on Facebook. One excellent benefit is how it shows the ratio of support to opposition for our position for all to see. It's right there in front of the lawmakers' own eyes. Rep. Barton has cited our Facebook posts, so we know it works.

So, let's post pro-poker comments and "like" the pro-poker comments posted by others. Let's divide these up into manageable groups for each day, starting with these nine senators for today:
Recurring actions:

Let's continue to own other Facebook pages, too:
  • The House Financial Services Committee's Facebook page is here.
  • Let's get some posts on the House Committee on Energy and Commerce page (here)
  • The Dept. of Justice's page is here.
  • Senators' FB pages: Senator Facebook Listing

Wrong or right, I just sent this to CNBC Customer Care under the option "Viewer Feedback".
I'm new so I guess I'm going to get flamed but I don't care. I think the story deserves more exposure.

Dear CNBC Viewer,
Thank you for your submission to CNBC Customer Care.
We are committed to reviewing your submission and we will email you as quickly as possible with

I am a frequent viewer of your channel and I really enjoy Mad Money, the Kudlow Report and Fast Money.
During market hours I flip channels between all three business networks but I prefer your network.
Although I have seen some coverage of "Black Friday", May 15th, the day the DOJ siezed the domain
names of the three biggest online poker companies, I believe this story warrants much more coverage.
The story is huge and involves millions of people.

I would like to see serious debate on the pros and cons of regulating and legalizing online poker.
Would it help the economy by creating thousands of jobs? Would the billions of tax revenue help the deficit?
Seeing your many knowledgable guests share their ideas / opinions in depth would be fascinating to a great
many people, regardless of your guests' responses. I am pro-online poker legalization but am open-minded enough to
respect opinions from either side. I just think it is a big story that is mostly being ignored.

There are many side-stories that could also be covered such as one of the sites refunding players' money
while the other two have made no refunds as of yet. Check out the details...it involves many millions of dollars.

More in-depth coverage and debate would be very beneficial to your network and would give your network huge
exposure on the many internet poker forums, 2+2 forum being the largest. No matter that people agree / disagree
with the opinions of your experts, the discussion in the forums would bring your brandname
into the limelight and would surely increase your viewership. Please note that I'm speaking of poker and not
gambling sites.

Best regards,
XXXXX

Only problem I saw was you put May 15th instead of April 15th. Other than that, great email and post. Welcome to the forums.
