You need a pretty strong Mac to do this. Top of the line last edition MacBookPro or iMac or PowerMac should do it. Any current edition Mac (Core 2 Duo with 2GB+ Ram) should be able to do it also.

If you don't have one of those and have like an old black/white Macbook or a Mac Mini (Core Duo < 2GB lesser video card etc.) then you are going to run into some serious problems with your computer lagging up and even freezing. I don't speak about this from a technical standpoint of expertise, just with a lot of experience on trying to play poker with HEM on different macs.

I'll upload my table, cardmods, and the transparency later when I get home from work. God my job is soulcrushing.

I am indeed. This is a pretty standard thing with an vector based graphics, as print houses that send stuff out to printers dont share the same fonts

Here's the link: http://anthony-lane.com/Table.zip

Unzip the file, and drag & drop it into: C: Program Files > Full Tilt Poker > Graphics > NewTable > Classic > Backgrounds

Restart client, and you're good to go.

thanks for your table mod absoludicrous and abstractls for your universal cards thing, even if the cards aren't great yet it's still way better than ftp cards

download @ http://drop.io/srw8fi0

It's a dark mod for racetrack, copy Graphics folder into your FTP folder, yes to overwrite.
Restore a backup of the original Graphics folder to uninstall, or just reinstall the client.

Let me know if you have any problems, I'll fix them. As far as I have tested it, it works.

This version does NOT include the cardmod (see next post).

I just completed a cardmod but I still have a little problem that you might have encountered before;

So the mod works for all window sizes except when you make them the smallest size (so it uses the *_nf_lowres folders from \NewTable\Common\Cards).

Then it looks like this when you resize.

It appears to overlay some version of a Joker card I once made (letters L OL) on it. I completely removed the software client from my computer, manually removed the FTP directory from the Program Files directory, then downloaded and installed the client and applied the modfiles again.

I have checked and re-checked every one of the SVG files with SVG viewer and Illustrator and I can't seem to find where it's getting that Joker graphic from. Layout.xml doesn't reference it so I don't know where to go next.

I've saved them in Tiny 1.2 SVG format in Adobe Illustrator CS4, maybe it might be messing around with the internal layering of the files (since I was working with one masterfile from which I saved all the individual cards)? If anybody knows how to fix it let me know, I'll put the updated version online for everybody to download.

Is it possible to mod cards to make them bigger when other people have been dealt cards? With the old software I had my HUD just above a player name and I could see the top of his cards because they were longer. However now the cards are shorters so I cant see the tops of the cards. It's really annoying now when I multitable as when If I rase pre or call and I do something on another table and action gets back to me on the flop I have no idea who is still left in the hand.

I'll post the cards if you guys want, but remember that they get messed up when you make your tables too small, the cards get f'd up (like when you tile 6+ tables on a 24" or something).

So it will work, but I'll take out the smallest cards so It will revert back to the standard card, which do display correctly.

If you play 1-4 tables on a 24" screen it works. Until I or somebody else figures out why the small cards get f'd up, more tables doesn't work.

Anyways, I've put them both up.

ftp_cards_all.zip also contains the smaller cards for somebody that wants to mess around with it.

All new mods for post-update FT, that are not being sold (read: non-commercial) should be posted in this thread:

We know why it doesnt work, in the past FT cards were 6 sizes of bitmap files (png). Now it is two sizes of Vector files, your old cards will never work at all sizes until the authors redo them as vector files.

lol yes, well I am the author of them and I redid them all in the normal folders (for instance clubs_green) and in the _lores and _nf_lores folders for each suit. So it should work. But like I said, when displaying the smallest suit, a jokercard overlays. Still don't know why. Looks like I'm going to have to redo all the smaller versions of the suits.

I designed mine in Illustrator, saved as SVG Tiny 1.2. How did you save them and in which program? Maybe it's the SVG layering or something that gets screwed up..

sigh, all 3 mods i've tried so far look blurry as hell on the smallest table setting, which is what i play. are there any that actually look crisp on the smallest setting?
