Are these actual PokerTracker numbers or Stars lobby numbers? I remember when I played on Stars that the lobby numbers were way off what the actual numbers were.
It seems crazy to me that people think the American sites are softer than the European ones. Sure there are still a tonne of fish on stars/tilt, but the play on average is wayyyy better than on party for example.
The thing is, it all comes down to experience. That's why poker was so profitable a few years ago. Back then most players didn't know what starting hands to play, didn't know about positional play, floating, 3-betting, etc, etc. Nowadays most American players understand these basic fundamentals of NLHE. Where as in Europe, poker is still an emerging market and a lot of people are just learning the game now.
Lets face it NLHE isn't the most difficult game in the world to play, most of our profits come from others mistakes. When every one know hows to play, your edge becomes smaller and smaller. Sure you can still eek a profit playing good players, but personally I'd rather play the fish and let them give me there money.
Newbs=fish=Europe.
