Yea plus is has taken them 3 days so far to just do security checks on my passport and proof of address. I feel like telling them to not bother as I certainly won't be playing if this policy does not change.

Which is exactly why I suggested Terminal as a much better option for speed poker.

does terminal offer regular reloads? I've already used my 200% welcome bonus and never returned there since....

works good for me.
And finally you can multi-table, not like in a web client still it sucks, that you have to download a different software for this fast poker and it is not connected with microgaming in any way.

Confirmed it's working for me too, I just downloaded an updated version of the software. Yeah, being able to multitable is nice, now all need is traffic+rakeback. But given it's a fish tank, I might stay on FastPoker for now, at least until I have the welcome bonus.

You're right, it's not connected to microgaming, from what I've read two other networks will have FP too but, similarly to microgaming, you probably won't be connected to them at all. It's a shame, because if they did different skins on the several networks you probably could do some bonus-whoring...

Is it already in public use or still beta testing-ish? I mean, it kinda defeats the purpose of advertising when the software is not directly connected to the "normal" poker client and gives no further incentive.

I believe that they are not going to connect this to their main software.
Another thing that I believe that it is still beta. Because when you login to the software it just says "coming soon..." for example fast tournaments and fast sit n go. (anyway, they won't have enough traffic for that)

I tried to dig some info on this and I think they have a different business model: it's like an independent poker room (e.g, terminal poker), however they associate with networks like Microgaming to advertise their product. When other networks join, they'll share fast poker's player pool, however, this pool is always different from the poker site's normal pool. They pay a percentage of rake generated to the "host" poker site but they act like an independent room.

Perhaps, depending on the network, you might get different promotions, but that should be exclusive to the poker room itself. But fast poker is so distinct from the host that, at Microgaming, the rake generated doesn't count towards their VIP scheme.

That's why I say they must do something about this, because with no loyalty scheme I don't see any purpose for playing there after the welcome bonus is redeemed. But perhaps some Fast Poker representative could come to 2+2 and brief us on this, as this is just info I got here and there, nothing "official"

I just got a mail in the mailbox from igame with a signup code for €10 free (same as on Unibet) so I guess playerpool will grow a little bit more today/coming days. Will be even better when 24h poker, pokerhione (spelling?) and especially betsson joins aswell.

Hopefully they have some promos and rakeback planned for the near future, think the network will have a hard time keeping players with no rakeback or any other kind of good promos.

If they do not introduce rakeback they may as well give up right now.

You can already play speed poker on Stars with no rakeback and bigger player pools.

Man I hope they find a way to get more players soon. I mean, I enjoy playing this game even in texas holdem for micro stakes, but it would be lot more fun to play any stakes omaha. I don't care if they offer rakeback to do it, as it is always nicer to win in loose games than earn thanks to rakeback, but something needs to be done. On the positive side I like the software a lot, it looks a lot like the (old) boss media software, but is lot faster and smoother.

Agree, the software is pretty good for its first release, although some basic functions are missing (auto-rebuy, sit-out-next BB). But at least its fast and reliable.

The looseness of the player pool is striking, I have been grinding exclusively Stars since BF but do european sites have so many ******ed players or FP is just an outlier??

The looseness is obviously result of not offering rakeback, it is certainly lot looser than the rakeback offering networks I have played at. Yeah totally agree on the auto-rebuy feature, weird that it wasn't offered right from the start.

They need to add more sites/players and they need to launch promos, player count is getting worse by the day

I also noticed it: yesterday at european peak time there were only 40 players at NL4, none at NL10 and some 20 at NL20. If they don't make it attractive they won't last long...

Its kinda sad because IMO software is super smooth with lots of potential.

Yeah I think it might get better.

Unibet just bought bet24 and they are going to merge that brand under the Unibet brand if I understood correctly, that hopefully means more players. Also I asked the Betsafe support when the fast poker goes live on their site and they said it might take more than two months, but Betsafe + Betsson should provide a good boost. Also the iGame.com should launch at the end of April according to them, which might also bring some players.

but these networks have few players already, so that won't solve the problem. For +traffic they need to setup rakeback or frequent reloads, otherwise it won't be worth it. I mean, who plays in a site that doesn't you back anything from the 5% rake they charge?? I'm outta there once the welcome bonus expires (at least this is 20% rb during bonus clearing)

Yeah I somewhat agree with you. Though today Betsson, bought Nordicbet, so if Nordicbet at some point joins the network as well it simply has to become pretty big. The NL games seem to have come much tighter in the last few days :-( or maybe people just don't want to give action to my nick LoveCock

I remember you, I LOLLED the **** out when say such a nickname!

I also feel the games got a be tougher, I think the majority of the fish were eaten in the first week, now there ain't much fish left. I mean, I remember that one week ago the avg pot at NL10 was $2,50! Can you believe it, a 25BB average pot???

The product is dead. well played unibet.
After making some money I am taking it all out... I thought it will be something big... but they just failed with no rakeback and etc. No reason for fish to play here as well. They will better play at stars to get a t-shirt.

The product is not doing well cause they don't market it at all. There is no info when opening their regular software, hell, even on their homepage you have to click the poker tab to see anything related to Fast Poker and really, who visits any poker site on a regular basis once you've downloaded their software? I don't understand those decisions, they had a pretty decent start with 10 free bonus and now they've lost the momentum.
