^ if you can't win on Sky Poker you are just terrible at poker. It's the only site i can think of where the play is worse than live.

My journey on sky poker deposited £50 turned it into about £500 went on a horrible long stretch where all i could do is break even.

To be fair I have been on similiar stretches where i lose a lot on stars and checked other grinders graphs out and found they to have had similiar stretches I guess if i dont want a lot of variance and downswings I should not play hypers, but in my opinion its likely to be the easiest way to make any proper money in poker. I am not saying that is gospel its just the impression i get. I hear mtts are alright to but with my current life commitments mtts is not something i can commit to.

When I have gone on these stretches on stars though I had poker tracker and hand histories to reassure me that whilst yes I have been unlucky this is not a blatant rig and is probably variance.

It may well be the case that the same is true for sky poker, but the fact that they refused me hand histories means i cannot verify that.

You're joking aren't you? The cash games are so soft on Sky it's laughable. Even up to the £100nl level. The regs are awful and the fish are properly spewy. I'm not even that great at poker and i win consistently on there. I've made £368 so far since the beginning of March and i took a week off - and this is playing only a mixture of £4nl-£10nl with the odd £20nl thrown in. And this is not a hot streak or good variance - i've had several -£30-40 days where i got ****ed by the deck consistently. Look up some guy who was winning £4-700 a month playing only £4nl on there. Think he left but he was always a massive winner.

Let me dig you up a hand history from yesterday:

£0.5/£0.10
Hero BB (£10) 8h6h
V BTN (£10)
Randomer SB (£10)

Call, V raises to £0.45, Randomer calls, her calls, first caller folds. 3 to the flop of...

(£1.45)
5h 8s Th

Randomer and Hero both check, V bets £1.45, Randomer calls and I come along.

Turn (£5.80)
8d

Two checks and V on the button jams for £8.20. Randomer folds, i call and V has QQ. Ship it.

Next hand. V in this hand consistently wins money at this site even though he's terrible and tries to bluff calling stations all the time.

£0.05/£0.10

Hero in CO with AcJc
Randomer in SB
V in BB

Folds to hero who raises to £0.35.
SB and BB call.

Flop (£1.05)
Th9c5c

SB checks, BB bets £0.53, we both call.

Turn (£2.64)
Qc

SB checks, BB bets £1.32, Hero calls, SB shoves for £1.62. Hero and BB both call.

River (£7.50)
Ks

BB bets £3.75, Hero jams for BB's last £3.85, BB snap calls and tables KJo. £22.70 pot (~$33 for you 'Muricans) is just given to me.

So yes, if you're within the allowed countries, you can't afford not to play on Sky. If you can't make money on there then you are not playing profitable poker and your original winnings were probably luck.

Wondering what the crack is with the so called 'Heads Up cash game specialists' on this site?

I'm not exactly a crusher, and i'm not even known on there but not a single one of the people sitting in the £20nl-£100nl HU games will play me. I get about 3 hands off them before they disappear, but as soon as i stand they reseat themselves.

There's one guy taking up like 6 tables and won't play ANYONE for more than a few hands. What's all that about? Something fishy going on?

One so called culprit is Sky Poker lolpro Wayne 'Gliterbabe' Rideout. The guy is an absolute joke. He refused to play me but then sat with someone else and played a few hundred hands.

I don't get it, i'm not known, not particularly amazing at HU and am not playing particularly high....only thing i can think of is that they see i'm multitabling and assume i know what i'm doing and therefore determine i'm not a bum.

Either that or Gliterbabe et al. see you checkraise a few times and decide you're too much hassle?

I just don't get it. Why would you sit all day and not even play the rec players that sit to play you?

All the community darling so-called cash game regs won't play fish heads up.

One guy has been sat on the 25p/50p tables HU all day and wouldn't play a single hand with the 7 or 8 people who've sat with him including me. Someone sits, he folds his hand then leaves, then straight back on the table once they've left.

Could you guys PLEASE make a decent rewards system where the points earned actually have some value, eg. possibility to exchange them for a bonus, rather them simply accumulating forever?!

Hi, 1st post on here so this should be interesting. So I have been MIA from the skypoker tables for around 6 months now because I self excluded myself to focus on two other sites (stars n Euro site). I self excluded myself from skybingo 5years (for a laugh) because I knew I wouldn't be playing that anyways and most other Sky related games. the self exclusion ran out last week sometime for SkyBet so I had to ring them up and get the exclusion over with and all was handy dandy, now today I tried to ring Skypoker today and get the exclusion over with so I could start the sky grind again and what they said was absolutely ridiculous "you can't play until Skybingo self exclusion has been terminated which ends in 2021 lol'z<----. how the F does this even work? I can do SkyBet but not Skypoker literally within a week of each other? anyways was wondering what's up with that? this tilted me so angrily I said "**** it then I'm going to just play on my cousins account" not really because what's the point better opportunities out there with other sites and much better rakeback. just crazy how this all came about and when I asked the person on the phone from Skybet they said yep ring this number next week when your skypoker exclusion dates up and they will sort it out. anyways thought F it 5year self exclusion on every product they have and I will not be going back. Any thoughts would be appreciated cheers.

I play all my volume on Sky Poker. However it's becoming increasingly frustrating that I can't convert my hands into an easily readable format.

Does anyone of a tool that will do such a thing?

P.S. wasn't really sure on where to post this.

Sky doesn't allow the use of huds or other tracking software, and as far as I know, there's no way to get hand histories from the site.
