re: Everleaf Poker (non)Withdrawals Thread
Those saying that 10 days is still pretty good- you're neglecting the fact that 1k is the maximum cashout per week via WU. That's ****ing weak when their alternate methods where you can cashout more at once are broken. And the fact that, for some godforsaken reason, we must wait an additional week in between REQUESTING the next WU cashout.
AND the fact that things can only get worse with people like you constantly demonstrating your tolerance toward the increasing processing times.
I guess I don't really get your motives behind defending the site and not complaining yourselves. What the ****, do you want to see it get kicked up to a month for processing time? Minted had a CLEAR advantage over other sites with its 2-3, even 3-5 day processing of WU cashouts. Now, with just the slightest increase in that number, to 7-10 days, it has completely lost its only advantage. I'm switching sites if they don't get things worked out.

re: Everleaf Poker (non)Withdrawals Thread
^^ I think that's a pretty fair post. I don't think it matters weather people complain or are happy though. ELG is going to do w/e they want/need to and all we really have to go on is that they used to be fast and Neil has said he wants to get back there and things are difficult.
Sucks guys. Don't know that we can do anything about it though, besides maybe playing other sites so they can catch up or try harder in order to get you back by aggressively finding a solution.
If possible, they should try and find a processor that offers MoneyGram as well. That way they could spread them between the two a little more. Very few sites use MG over WU and I don't know why, but I do know there are a couple who offer it or both.

re: Everleaf Poker (non)Withdrawals Thread
^^^ Very much agree
ELG decided the American poker market was not where its future was. TBH, it's probably a smart business decision by them. We simply have no leverage as US players.
If you were ELG would you worry about keeping the American poker base happy which is: 1) Small; 2) Desperate; 3) Risking the wrath of the DOJ as they became more visible in the industry; 4) Asking for all kinds of expensive measures, like protection against collusion, Bots, etc.etc. as it grows;
AND LET US NOT ALL FORGET THE #1 THING:
5) Going to leave your site in about .0000000001 nano-seconds tomorrow if US regulation happens;
OR
are you going to keep degen Italian's blowing sportsbook money mindlessly for the rest of eternity and occasionally tossing money around between themselves that ends up down the rake drain anyway or in the sportsbook when the poker winner bets the next slate of Serie A matches?
It is, unfortunately, the definition of a no-brainer.
They threw US players under the bus. We just weren't central to their business model anymore, and probably becoming a liability as we grew. If a few of us hang on b/c we have no where else to go and like the thought of WU, fine, it's an added bonus but that's it. Unfortunately for Minted, as their number one US-facing site, they got chucked under the bus as well in the process since they were the most out there US facing site.
That is not ELG's problem, and it's certainly not mine. Minted, I do believe, had its heart in the right place and was looking to become a major player in the industry. You need a little luck to do that though, and they got the wrong network at the wrong time, unfortunately.
I wish them luck for the future.
For right now though, I just want my money, which I have been waiting on for 10 days come tomorrow.

FWIW, support tells me the delay is due to many cashout requests.

re: Everleaf Poker (non)Withdrawals Thread
many cashout requests has been the issue for 2 months now. they haven't had any bright ideas like adding another payout method either.

They also say the rake keeps rising because we bust the fish too fast.

Do you think that Merge and Cake have slow cash outs because the players "gave them an inch"?

As long as I get my money in time to do Christmas shopping I'll be fine. I'll probably have to play elsewhere from then on if that doesn't happen.

Neil said it in the support thread, italian players bust and redeposit like you wouldn't believe so we have to up the rake to cover transaction processing etc.

do you think you could leave those two terrible networks in their own respective threads? they have nothing to do with EL, why do you insist, and what is your agenda? to get slower payouts here too?
