Re: Eurolinx w/d problems > UPDATE: Eurolinx seeks to put business into liquidation.

the LGA isn't the liquidator, but the regulator of the Malta licensed activities of BetonBet (afaik the poker and the casino). they have started an investigation, no mention of liquidating anything.

The Linx Media Group, containing both BetonBet and Eurlinx, announced it would appoint a liquidator, but no news from that direction yet. But this is completely seperate to the LGA-investigation.

as far as i know, the poker and casino players of BetonBet are included in the investigation of the LGA, because these activities were licensed in Malta.
the sportsbook players of BetonBet, as well as all players in Eurolinx are not included, so basically need not bother.

no idea what happens if you are a player in several of these products, or in any other possible cases.

Seems weird to have different licenses in the different stuff.

I played on all three if i remember correctly, i played there for some time.

but i played 98 percents poker and i think i had most of my money on the poker account, but i think i had some on sports book, i even think i made one of two withdraws from the sport book because it was in euro, and someone in this thread said that if you took out euro it would go faster...

man this is should not be so complicated...

edit: " Kindly confirm if you are a Sportsbook or Casino player. " No options for poker? Poker must go under Sportsbook if you only have those two to choose from?

Playeraccount is the logginname!

I asked LGA of Malta if I was a casinoplayer or sportsbooksplayer and told them that i used the software solely for playing poker and they confirmed that I was a casinoplayer. Probably means nothing if you are included in this investigation or not as this f.... JR most certainly has kept us in the dark so he could snatch our money!!

Re: Eurolinx w/d problems > UPDATE: Eurolinx seeks to put business into liquidation.

Information regarding BetOnBet and Eurolinx

OddsMatrix Ltd, the independent provider of fully managed sportsbooks, has on 28 August 2009 terminated its software license agreement with Eurolinx International NV, under which OddsMatrix has been providing sportsbetting software powering a solution on www.betonbet.com. This follows announcements that the company has gone into liquidation.

For clarification, OddsMatrix offers to customers both a fully licensed solution, operating on the OddsMatrix sportsbetting license in Malta, license number LGA/CL2/497/2008, and a software solution where the customer operates on his own license. The agreement with Eurolinx regarding the BetOnBet website is of the latter kind and hence in particular OddsMatrix has no involvement with player funds. For customers operating on the OddsMatrix license in Malta, all player funds are covered by security deposits fully separated from operational funds.

OddsMatrix will, under the limitations of data protection acts, assist liquidator as well as regulatory authority in relevant investigations with the aim of supporting player claims regarding sportsbetting balances.

Players really need to not chip-dump. If they're caught, the accounts will be frozen and the funds confiscated. From the Eurolinx T&C: Forfeit and/or confiscate funds available on a Gaming Account and/or refuse to honour a claim, in the event that, directly or indirectly, The Eurolinx Rules have been violated and/or other unauthorised activities have occurred in connection with a betting event and/or the operation of a Gaming Account. This is subject to any of the said events being in connection with the Gaming Account and/or the claim in question.

I wish I could add something substantive to this mess, but I just don't know anything and really can't contribute except to warn off chip-dumping just as strongly as possible. I hope everything gets sorted out soon. I hope you weren't caught up in this.

If it's possible, please post this about chip-dumping. Even say it's from me. Although I'm no longer a Eurolinx Rep and can't speak for what's happening, I can at least hopefully keep the players from getting their funds confiscated for fraud.

Turning PM off again...

Best regards,
Lydia

thanks for posting.

hmm difficult choice: dump chips and you might get caught and lose your funds, don't dump chips and lose your funds either way. tough choice.

sounds like lydia has changed her eurolinx-hat for a microgaming-hat just like that, and is only interested in the interests of her new employer. she seems to be forgetting her old employer stole our money on her watch. she obviously doesn't quite (want to) understand people stand to lose a lot of money here. it would have been better if she would have kept her mouth shut, this doesn't make her look like a nice gal at all.
oh, just so lydia knows, newsflash: one day after she send this PM it is no longer possible to chipdump at all since the eurolinx/betonbet website is gone. i'm not even a poker player there (but sportsbook) but would have downloaded their poker client specifically to dump my remaining funds if i had known about this outcome, since this was obviously by far the best shot of getting any funds out at all.
