Hi Wolf,

Now Now...we aren't actually advertising Eurolinx are we? I mean you can't exactly sign up and
Granted we will get the bonus stuff removed anyhow and just leave a link there to the Eurolinx page.

The pages had been left up so that people with no news about Eurolinx can actually get some news about them. Not everyone who got ****** by them had an affiliate they could turn to. We have had many players not signed up through us who came to us for help through finding our pages.

We only wish that we had more up to date news or information on the whereabouts of Jo Remme and the money. At least with Tusk there is a process in place.

Since the Eurolinx incident we have only worked with Microgaming sites who have ring-fenced money for players so that if they do collapse, only we as the affiliate would lose out. We are not saying that Ladbrokes, Unibet and Purple are the only ones that have ring-fenced money but it would be interesting to know how many Microgaming skins out there still don't afford the players any protection at all if they go bust? Maybe there are none.

But although she was a bit vague I think the lady in the APCW report was trying to get across that "(They) don't hold player funds!". So is every Microgaming site now "safe" after the Tusk and Eurolinx episodes?

Do you play on Prima still Wolf? If so, are your funds ring-fenced?
Is it safe?
Is it SAFE?

This is just like Marathon Man!

If they're under the LGA, according to the law they are:

http://www.lga.org.mt/lga/content.aspx?id=87374

Click on "remote gaming regulations 2004", scroll to page 15:

Quote:
40. (1) A licensee shall keep players’ funds separately from the licensee’s own funds in a Clients’ account held with a credit institution approved by the Authority.

(2) (a) The funds in the players’ account, including funds in transit or in the process of being cleared through the banking system or by credit card processing companies, shall at any time be at least equal to the aggregate of the amount standing to the credit of players’ accounts held by the licensee

(etc)

Was Eurolinx in Malta? I forget. However, if they were, they were clearly in violation of this clause. The LGA wouldn't have had a clue because the regulations are window dressing and whitewash, but they're legally binding.

Eurolinx weren't, but their sister site BetOnBet was.

The LGA regulations are completely worthless. The LGA is a joke, a number of LGA-regulated sites have gone bankrupt without paying players. GoldVictory and BetChance would probably be the best known, but there are several others.

The LGA has also shown time and again that it' doesn't care about licensees ripping of players. CasinoClub ripped off a player for €200k, and the LGA hasn't even responeded to the player's complaint. He is currently pursuing the case through the Malta legal system.

Re: Eurolinx w/d problems > UPDATE: Eurolinx seeks to put business into liquidation.

I think the problem is that some networks do not do their due diligence when it comes to checking out licensees!
We aren't suggesting that was the case was here of course!

However if you have problems or concerns about a skin, you should email the people who run Microgaming and get answers to your questions.

Roger Raatgever - CEO

rogerr@microgaming.com or roger@microgaming.com

Roger would be delighted to answer all questions and allay all fears I am sure.

In fact, if you are unsure about your funds at any site you should email the owners or the network heads.

There have been way too many collapses and there will no doubt be more in the future and the same information will come out that they didn't have the right licenses etc. and the money wasn't ring-fenced.

It is vitally important that players stick to well known brands and avoid the Mickey Mouse sites that have been given skins on a network for a few hundred $$$.

The cull is coming......

If players had money lost / stolen from BetOnBet, then the LGA must be liable. However stinkingly corrupt they (obviously) are, rules is rules. They need to be held to account.

Re: Eurolinx w/d problems > UPDATE: Eurolinx seeks to put business into liquidation.

Hi Us @ RakeTheRake (K. himself?),
Sorry for late answer, having something live under promotions on the internet could be counted as advertising, though we all know to well that you were not trying to get new players to sign up, obviously, as this would be impossible at the moment, so this is clear. Seems like you got my point anyway.

Anyway, do you know already who was appointed as liquidator or any other news to players that should be posted there, as you seem to imply that you keep players updated on this?

I think more people care about the money, not under which stone Jo is hiding.

No, I do not play there - even if i get spammed to play there on a rake race where 1 cent rake gives you a $25 prize as per low number of depositing players and/or RB above network policy (did not get it by you of course, just to clarify).

I do not understand that part where you claim that only you as affiliate would lose.
By logic this would mean that you pay out all the players, partners, suppliers, ..whoever is affected by any company going down. I think only if you ARE the owner of a skin with good financial department one could claim something like this at all, therefore I do not understand it what you meant.

Does Roger know that you post his email here? Just wow.

Hahaha, great, enough said.

Re: Eurolinx w/d problems > UPDATE: Eurolinx seeks to put business into liquidation.

RTR, do you really think that Roger guy would bother replying to such a query made by a player (not that he could give a flying ****) when he isnt able to keep track of legit paperwork?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if I recall correctly Eurolinx's license was issued by a regulator that doesnt exist and yet that forged license was enough for them to operate on the microgaming network? I might be misremembering, but there was definitely something dodgy with the Eurolinx license. That alone would be enough for me to not trust a word coming out of any microgaming rep's mouth.

Having that said, there are still good honest skins operating on microgaming.

@ Wolf, hi.
Roger's email is a public address found on the web so no worries there.

What i mean about affiliates losing out is that, if a skin went bust and couldn't pay referral commissions etc, then at least the player bankrolls would be safe and it would not be the end of the world for an affiliate if they lose a couple of month's worth of payments.

@ benandjerry, hi

Nope he probably wouldn't reply but if he gets enough pressure and emails from players then it might force Prima/Microgaming to review the documents of every existing skin and to demand that all player funds are ring-fenced.

Basically rooms should have to make sure that they have the equivalent of the players total funds on deposit within an independent bank account. Exactly the same way that traders have to maintain margins to cover their positions each day.

@ Domcee, hi

Alas no details. Not sure we will ever see anything on this the way things are going.

Kind regards

Us

Re: Eurolinx w/d problems > UPDATE: Eurolinx seeks to put business into liquidation.

When Eurolinx went down I did some online research and found interesting information. Just throwing it out there, maybe it can help!

From the old Eurolinx site (http://web.archive.org/web/200708171...ction=about_us)

http://eurolinx.com is owned by:
Eurolinx International NV
P.O. Box 6052
Curacao
Netherlands Antilles

It is operated by same through an exclusive agreement with:

Eurolinx Ltd
Vincenti Buildings
Suite 406
14/19 Strait Street
Valletta Malta

A bankruptcy report was filed for the company "Eurolinx International NV" on december 3, 2009.This is the report, also available here: http://www.ekvandoorne.com/en/bankruptcies

*****
BANKRUPTCY REPORT
Bankruptcy report number 1 of the trustee of
Eurolinx International N.V.

Bankruptcy date : 11 September 2009
Trustee : Mr. R.F. van Beemen (the Trustee)
Supervisory judge : Mrs. A.M.P. Geelhoed
Activities Company : The purpose of the corporation was to provide off-shore games of
chance and wagering through the internet in compliance with the
regulations of the Government of the Netherlands Antilles. This service
was rendered from an area that has been designated as an E-zone in
conformity with the local E-zone law.
Turnover data : The result after taxes according to the draft annual accounts 2009 (as of
17 August 2009) shows a loss of USD 22,310
Reporting period : 11 September 2009 up to and including 2 December 2009
Total hours spent to date : 32.7

1. General
This is the first bankruptcy report of the Trustee regarding the bankruptcy of Eurolinx.

1.1 Eurolinx is a limited liability company, incorporated on 9 January 2007 under the laws of the
Netherlands Antilles. It has its statutory seat in Curacao, Netherlands Antilles and its business
address is Emancipatie Boulevard 29, Curacao, the Netherlands Antilles. Eurolinx is registered
under number 101082 (0) in the Commercial Register in Curacao.
E-Management N.V., a professional trust and management firm, was the last known managing
director of Eurolinx (the Former Managing Director). According to the stockholders register of Eurolinx, Mr. R. Eidem was the sole shareholder of this company.

1.2 Due to the fact that Eurolinx did not fulfill or could not fulfill its (financial) obligations
towards Mr. E. Kesselman and Mr. R.D. Fellner, on 6 August 2009, they filed a petition for
bankruptcy with the Court of First Instance in Curacao (the Court). On 11 September 2009
the Court adjudicated bankrupt Eurolinx, appointing Ms. A.M.P. Geelhoed as supervising
judge in charge of the bankruptcy and Mr. Robert F. van Beemen as trustee.

2. Assets and Liabilities
2.1 The Trustee has not found any funds on bank accounts in Curacao or outside Curacao nor did
he find any liquid assets. According to information and documents provided by the Former
Managing Director Eurolinx is the sole shareholder of BetonBet Technology AS, a limited
liability company organized and existing under the laws of Norway and majority shareholder of
Eurolinx Limited, a private limited liability company organized and existing under the laws of
Malta (together: the Subsidiaries). According to the draft balance sheet, dated 17 August
2009, the total amount of these participations is USD 457,400.

2.2 Up to date there are two creditors whom are known to the Trustee:
a) Mr. E. Kesselman – USD 79,558.81
b) Mr. R.D. Fellner – USD 54,446.18

2.3 With regard to the Subsidiaries, the Trustee has been informed that there might be funds in certain bank accounts and/or other liquid assets in Malta and/or Norway. As the respective
banks are not willing to cooperate with the Trustee, he has to engage a lawyer and/or other
advisers in Malta and/or Norway, in order to get access to these bank accounts or at least to
be provided with more information about the (potential) funds in these bank accounts.
However, due to lack of finance the Trustee is not able to further investigate the potential
assets and/or the liquidation of the Subsidiaries and to engage lawyers and other advisers in
Malta and Norway.

2.4 On 5 January 2009, Eurolinx entered into an option agreement with Mr. J.A. Lervik and Mr.
S.E. Larsen to the effect that Lervik and Larsen granted Eurolinx an option to purchase the
shares in the capital of Alpine (Malta) Ltd., a limited liability company organized and existing
under the laws of Malta. The Trustee will terminate this agreement by a written notice to Mr.
J.A. Lervik and Mr. S.E. Larsen.

3. Continuation
The continuation of Eurolinx in moratorium or in bankruptcy was not an option.

4. Accounting obligation
The Trustee has been provided by the Former Managing Director with i) the draft annual
accounts as per 31 December 2007; 31 December 2008 and 17 August 2009; ii) various
agreements; and iii) other corporate documents related to Eurolinx and the Subsidiaries.

5. Annual Accounts
The Former Managing Director has prepared written annual accounts with regard to the
financial years 2007, 2008 and 2009. However, these annual accounts are draft versions and
have not been audited nor have the annual accounts been approved by the general meeting of
shareholders.

6. Improper management
The Trustee will further investigate the manner in which the Former Managing Director has
fulfilled his duties.

7. Fraudulent acts in respect of creditors
The Trustee will further investigate whether fraudulent acts (paulianeus handelen) have been
committed.

8. Miscellaneous
This bankruptcy report is available for inspection at the Court of First Instance of the
Netherlands Antilles, venue Curacao.

As you can read in the report, E-Management N.V., a professional trust and management firm, was the last known managing director of Eurolinx. According to the stockholders register of Eurolinx, Mr. R. Eidem was the sole shareholder of this company.
E-Management N.V. As you can read in the report is/was located next door to Eurolinx. When you Google for this company, you will get to this website: www.emanagement-group.com. This company also has a division in Malta and is involved in e-gaming. Also, you will see on their site that they have divisions such as HBM Group and New Haven e-Zone which are next to or in the same building as Eurolinx International N.V. was.

I have e-mailed the trustee mentioned in the report last year to let him know Eurolinx were enganged in a poker scandal and to ask if any progress was made, but he never responded.

Many interesting questions arise, like who are the creditors Kesselman and Fellner, why are the banks that supposedly have funds from Eurolinx not cooperating, did the trustee find any money yet to get lawyers..etc.

I lost $3k. I replied and followed this thread avidly for the first 6 months or so; however I now find it easier not to think about it.

Have there been any developments in the past year?
