Hi MicroGaming,

Again, I would like to inquire on the proceedings regarding the Euorlinx liquidation (and the obvious loss of my funds).

I hope and trust you can answer a couple of questions, regarding the matter?

- What is the current situation regarding Eurolinx?
- Who are its liquidators and how can I contact them?
- Are you still in contact with, or have you recently contacted Jo Remme, owner of Eurolinx?
- How is it possible various MicroGaming licensees can set up elaborate scams, with the only victims being the players (and some affiliates). Eurolinx, BetonBet, Tusk and Grand Prive to name a few... Why did this, in recent years, only happen at MicroGaming?
- Do you have a document in which it states where Eurolinx was/is licensed as a casino operator? If so, can you provide me with a copy.

Im looking forward to your reply (as do a lot of other players).

Kindest regards,

According to the videos linked above your post, Microgaming's position appears clear. They feel they hold zero responsibility for any of these failures, and have washed their hands of it. Not only will MG not respond to you, I have my doubts that anyone will ever see a dime of their Eurolinx money short of capturing Jo Remme themselves. Maybe if a rogue site owner was ever found, their consequences would serve as a deterrent.

What is there to hunt?

- Jo Remme or his partner are nowhere to be found
- it is unclear if there are liquidators and if there are, who they are
- It is unclear if there is some company with assets to liquidate
- It is unclear where Eurolinx is based (if based anywhere).
- MicroGaming is doing its best to not respond to any questions
- MicroGaming facilitates faudulent activity multiple times and has no incentive to cooperate

The only lead afaik is MicroGaming. But they have a policy of not caring for players...

Eurolinx weren't licensed with the LGA (probably weren't in Curacao either) but BetonBet were licensed in Malta and they haven't been any more helpful regarding these

Licensing is useless if the casino folds (i.e. jetsetpoker). Its only useful if the casino is still running.

Casinomeister has been to the IoM for a Q&A with Microgaming, have to say for him, the results are unusually weak, although in fairess his meeting was more to dowith casinos, which he has a much better handle on

Again - MGS holds no player funds and cannot deal with player issues. I think Kahnawake is the only non-white-listed jurisdiction that is accepted by MGS.

My observation is that casinos generally don't fall into black holes. Normally when a business fails, its bought up by other operators.

Where it gets problematic is with poker. Many poker rooms aren't fully licensed because some jurisdictions consider this peer-to-peer or skill games - thus no need to license.

<snip>

One thing about rake - they don't get nearly the amount of rake that a lot of players are assuming. The cap on rake is 3 per game for poker and MGS receives a very small percentage of this. So it's stretching it a bit when you're referring to a multi-million dollar fiasco.

As for the Linx group - they did check Jo Remme out. They knew about the article that appeared in some newspaper tying him in with a pyramid scheme but with further investigation there was no arrest records or court dates. It was only a newspaper article.

Read from bottom...

Dear MicroGaming,

Why do you send me the exact same email you send me on 10 December, while my questions are different and your answer does not indicate you even read my email?!

For what information are you waiting then? What are you waiting for and who are you waiting for? Who is (possibly) going to be liquidator?

Where is/was Eurolinx licenced? Do you have a copy of the form, that you can send me?

Are you still in contact with, or have you recently contacted Jo Remme, owner of Eurolinx?

I know you claim you dont have control over business activities of licencees, but Im sure you have control over who you licence?! Why can various MG licencees (and it only happens at your company) conduct fraudulent activity with no chance of being caught?

Please do not insult my intelligence by giving me the standard answer, again.

Kindest regards,

Edmuntus

Subject: RE: Eurolinx liquidation

Many thanks again for your e-mails.

As mentioned in our last response on 10 December, we are still awaiting further information ourselves on this matter.

As previously explained, Microgaming does not, nor is the company permitted to, hold players’ funds. As with other service providers and online gaming companies, whether software or otherwise,

Microgaming does not manage, or have any control over the business activities of its licensees. Nor does it have any right to see the financial records or accounts of its licensees.

We recommend that you lodge a claim directly with the liquidator as and when that becomes possible. Microgaming will be taking this course of action, as should all creditors.

Unfortunately we are unable to offer any further comments. We will release further information as and when we have some to report.

Thank you once again for your e-mails.
