im ****ting bricks here...
In the event that eurolinx goes under, I think it is fairly reasonable to assume that all of our money still on the site would be lost. This is the situation created by the united states federal government's lack of appropriate action ie regulation. The consumer is left with a product that lacks security and total safety as would be provided in a situation where the industry is licensed and regulated in the country in which we live in, and our government/economy which is in dire need of legitimate sources of revenue passes on the opportunity to raise tens of millions of dollars via taxation of this industry.

It's a lose-lose situation for all parties, government is the bee's knees!

go push your agenda else where...

that being said, in response to the "what if el fails Q"
players are pretty much up out of there monies. Microgaming has shown in the past they dont care much about the networks reputation and they offer little to no compensation when one of there skins gos under.

Not bloody likely (if it goes down). See the Tusk debacle for precedent.

Well at least it does not appear to have frozen up entirely. Many people appear to have received their $$ after waiting for months. That's a good thing (I think).

I decided to withdraw all my money from EL. I requested 10k withdrawal to MB on June 8th, 5500$ bankwire withdrawal on 11th, and another 4100$ MB withdrawal on 16th. I haven't received any of them yet. I really hope I receive my money even if it takes a bit of time.

Waiting 7 days now on a 5K deposit that was never used at the tables. I was told "security checks" which is clearly BS for a MoneyBookers deposit and withdrawal that has never seen play.

I will bug them everyday I guess until I get my Cash Out.

Nicole: Hello. How may I assist you?
you: Hi, just wondering how long a Cash Out takes?
Nicole: This all depends on the cashout method.
you: Throught moneybookers
Nicole: And also if this was a first withdrawal or not.
you: yes my first
you: If I do it through Cake Poker it takes 48 hours tops (from my first one)
Nicole: This method might take up to 3 banking days, for all first withdrawals it might take longer.
you: longer like a day?
Nicole: We run standard security checks for all initial withdrawals.
you: ok, so what a day?
Nicole: I have no time frame unfortunately.
Nicole: This depends on the workload the Finance Team has.
you: Okay, there is a thread at 2+2 about Eurolinx and Cash Outs taking weeks, just curious
you: and people not getting their money for a long time
Nicole: Yes, some withdrawals have been delayed, we know about this issue. However this will be resolved soon.
you: Okay, I will check back tomorrow, thank you for your help
you: take care
Nicole: All players will get their funds.
Nicole: You're most welcome!
Nicole: Thank you for visiting.

i think it would be pretty insaneo for them to go under when the american market is on the verge of returning in the semi near future. I think we'll get our money eventually.
Just wish they'd be straightforward about the situation.

You are now chatting with 'Nathalie'
Nathalie: Hello. How may I assist you?
you: 1 month still no money
you: 1 month
you: to neteller
you: whats up
you: this is sick
Nathalie: I am sorry about the delay
Nathalie: I am going to send a reminder to the payments office right away
you: again ?!
you: must be the 10th time
you: why cant y just be honest ?!, whats the problems ?!
you: are the site going down ?!
Nathalie: This is the only thing I can do as I am not the one who processes the withdrawals
Nathalie: It is not going down
Nathalie: In fact we are expanding and hiring new people

you: ok, well its big big thread on 2+2, biggest pokerforum , and thats not good promo for u right now
Nathalie: I am only a support agent
you: yeah, i know its not your fault
you: but i guess thats alot of more ppl complaining to you about that
Nathalie: I will include your feedback on the issue in my email to the payments office
you: whats the bosses do ?!
you: dont they care ?!
Nathalie: They sure care
you: well, tell them to respond in the 2+2 thread then, alot of ppl are worried about their money
you: cant be to mush to asked
Nathalie: I will but I cannot promise they will
you: guess they wont, but really, if there wasnt a big problem going on, they would have done that
you: all this non respond, and " security reason to not pay money" doesnt look serious
Nathalie: Maybe they would have done it already if the site was really going down and stuff
Nathalie: So they explain to players
you: well wasnt so long ago another 27 microgaming sites closed down
Nathalie: But we are really expanding
Nathalie: I am new employee for instance
Nathalie: Why would they hire me if they were going bankrupt?
you: ok, im not angry at you, but i just gonna say one last thing that u can tell you boss
you: Theres no idea to expanding, if u dont have any players playing on u site.
you: and there will be none players, if u have to wait 2 months for u winnings
Nathalie: I understand very well that
you: looks like u boss dosnt

One funny thing I remember: A friend wanted to deposit about $5000 but moneybookers didnt work at that time at Eurolinx, the issue was forwarded to a higher guy (dont know who exactly anymore) and he offered to transfer the money to him on PokerStars and he'll get the funds on Eurolinx in return

This was no scam or anything, he was serious

6 weeks tomorrow, and it's not even big, only 4,5k. I remember I, too, was offered the transfer to tilt or stars option when cashing out 20k last year. I said no-can-do, and they shipped me to neteller ok in a couple of weeks.

You are now chatting with 'Nicole'
Nicole: Hello. How may I assist you?
you: Hi Nicole, we spoke yesterday about my Cash Out
you: any update?
Nicole: Kindly hold on for a moment. Thank you.
you: thanks
Nicole: I can see that these pending withdrawals are your first withdrawals here. This means that they need to go through standard security checks first. It might slow down the withdrawal process.
you: But there is a giant thread at twoplustwo.com about A LOT of people waiting for withdrawls
you: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/28...rawals-484586/
you: A lot of poker players aren't happy about this, you have a good site and its ruining your reputation
Nicole: Yes, we are aware of this. We do apologize all players with late withdrawals for all inconvenience caused by that and we can assure all of them that this situation will be resolved as soon as possible. We are working on it at our best.
Nicole: I know that all players will get their money back to their accounts.
you: I just hope I don't have to wait weeks for this, other sites take a day or two
Nicole: I know this is very upsetting but we have some new security measures that slow down the withdrawal progress lately.
you: Ok, well nothing more that I can but wait. Probably won't deposit here again though if takes to long.
you: take care
Nicole: This is just a temporary problem.
Nicole: We are well known for the fast cashouts.
you: LOL - Ladbrokes is, but not Eurolinx
Nicole: Well, thank you for your feedback.
you: Thanks for your help, take care
Nicole: You're most welcome!
Nicole: Take care too!
you: If you read that thread you'll see what I'm talking about. Take care
Nicole: Thanks for the patience!
Nicole: I am updated on this.
you: bye
Nicole: Good bye!
Nicole: Thank you for visiting.
