Hi all,
We've had a couple of threads on this previously. They've gotten a bit long (and a bit old), hence the new one. (Old one at
http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/28...please-147718/ )
We're finally getting the long-awaited software release that include auto top-up, waiting list fixes, and more. We'll go live with it April 28th, barring any disasters or delays. A newsletter is going out shortly to all the players about this.
Improvements include:
- configurable auto top-up for cash games
- configurable bet slider
- waiting list fixes
- tournament payouts when you're knocked out, rather than when the tournament ends
- 5 minute sit-out time
- more tournament info from the Stats tab
In addition to this, we're also getting a new type of tournament, the Survivor Tournament. We're all pretty excited about this.
Survivor tournaments are a new type of tournament. At set times during a Survivor Tournament a percentage of the players with the smallest chip stacks are removed from the tournament.
Survivor Tournaments are fast paced and have a fixed duration. This is good tournament format for players that have limited time. For example you can market a Survivor tournament as a 45 minute tournament that players can play during their lunch hour.
As soon as we get the new software, we'll be setting up a $1000 Survivor Freeroll for 10 May. We'll also have some smaller Survivor Freerolls before that. We're really interested in 2+2 reaction to this.
The lobbies are also getting cleaned up a little so that navigation is a bit smoother.
Lastly, we have new Double Up STTs. 10 players, 5 get knocked out, 5 get their buy-ins back x2. They aren't part of this release, but they've gone live so recently they might as well be.
This release is based in large part on requests from 2p2ers. Your feedback on it is greatly appreciated, and it will all be considered.
Eurolinx is the first site to get this (along with one other). The Microgaming developers will be watching this thread with interest. This is the best time to be making software suggestions.
As a side-note, we don't have anything to do with Tusk, nor do the Microgaming developers. These software threads have been extremely useful in the past for getting player feedback on software to the people who need it most. Please don't bring Tusk into this.
I'll be posting in here on Monday in response to any questions.
Best regards,
Lydia
