i live in the US and want to start playing online again (i used to play on party/paradise pre-uigea). i figured getting a stars account was a good idea, but i have a few questions (i emailed stars but they said i needed an account before they could talk to me):
1) can i use my bank of america debit card to deposit there (it has a visa logo fwiw)?
2) there are no affiliate/rakeback deals with stars, right? all they have is a first deposit bonus?
3) besides stars, what pokersite should i get an account at?
my plan is to sign up at stars, and pick some other site, get an affiliate from rakebreakers.com, sign up at said other site, use whatever deposit bonus they offer, win mobnies. im not missing anything am i?
thanks a lot.

Not in US, so can't comment on number 1.
Number 2 is correct.
Number 3 depends very much on the volume you expect to play. As you go gold - platinum and then particularly on to supernova, Stars FPP system starts to exceed traditional rakeback in terms of benefits. Stars also has the most variety and the highest level of traffic. It also has the best support.
FTP might be your next best option and if you haven't held an account before, rakeback and sign-up bonuses are available.

its highly unlikely you'll be able to deposit with your debit card. However, with echecks, you can deposit to stars straight out of your bank account.

Fulltilt: has rakeback, deposit moneygram (you have to email them for instruction) most convenient for me, cost $10. But horrible support, takes them 3-5 days to answer your mail.
Pokerstars: Very little rakeback, has the best support. deposit moneygram
