Unlike the OP, you make a very real and valid point. It's not just that it's anonymous, it's that it's unregulated alongside. To their credit, they have refunded players when they find collusion, but that in itself doesn't prove their trustworthiness.
If at some point in the future, shadiness was uncovered then I don't think anyone would be shocked, but my personal view is quite positive. In much part this is down to their payment history- I don't believe there are any outstanding legitimate grievances, going by the fairly detailed payment thread, and payments are extremely prompt. That all counts for a lot.
In addition, at least in the cash games I play, I have seen nothing to make me presume there is much player collision, or any internal super-users/collusion at all. And there is most definitely nothing to indicate rigged play! Furthermore the game are simply too soft for anything much untoward to be going on.
So, yes, it's extremely possible that it could happen, but given the lack of evidence currently and the fact games are good and we have few options, I wouldn't be overly concerned right now.
