So at the unregulated site I play on the most I seem to be able to cash out is 25k per day, and this is via bitcoin. Bitcoin is all well and great except its basically impossible to sell that much bitcoin at once and not take a big hit on the value of the bitcoin and take a net loss.
I'm really just curious, though- back in the glory days of full tilt when everyone was swinging hundreds of thousands or even millions, how did people cash out?
Would Full Tilt just send you a wire transfer for 2 million dollars if you wanted?
Does pokerstars wire transfer large amounts like that today to sunday million winners, etc?
Maybe he is Sheldon Adelson in disguise evaluating what bigger players have to resort to if they so desire playing online poker still and not in his brick and mortar casinos? Who knows!
More so though I'm just curious about what stars does for large sums like if someone won the sunday million and wanted to cash out 250k or whatever
Assuming you're an American player by the post. As such, it doesn't matter what Stars does for ROW players. Whatever offshore site you're using will not be able to duplicate that feat for you, an American player.
Now, since it's obvious which site you are playing on, if you in fact have 6 figures+ to cash out, I'd suggest contacting support and asking for a bank wire. They may hook you up. Then again, maybe not.
