+1 just folded the nuts because the table didn't pop up like it's supposed to. This has been happening a lot lately, i hope i'm not accused of chip dumping because of your crappy software.

And other thing, why are there no gold card tournaments. This is a scam if you have a promotion going that is making you money (via gc exchange vig) but offering absolutely no value to the player. Not only that, players who have invested money into buying your worthless gold cards have seen their investment crash due to this scam.

I'd hold back on calling it a scam. I suspect they will end up discontinuing Gold Cards, and offer a bonus for gold cards instead. If they **** us after that, all bets are off and we can raise hell.

Re: CakePoker / Cake Feedback Thread

Might be of little help for your questions Gunth, but my affiliate contacted his Cake contact, and they had this to say about Gold Cards back on June 15th:

"Nothing has changed but the name yet. It’s an ongoing discussion what to do with the rewards program and we’ll inform you as soon as the new direction (if there is one) is set."

My inquiry was about the fact Lock players were receiving Gold Cards, so I figured Gold Cards were going to have to be discontinued. This was a direct response to the question of what their future plans were for Gold Cards/Chips.

Re: CakePoker / Cake Feedback Thread

My main concern is that this is supposed to be a promo for the players and instead its a money printing machine for lock/cake...and that players actually got screwed if they bought them because prices have dropped as a result of them not having any use. Those who bought the cards have 2 options, let the money just sit there and watch it's value go lower and lower, or sell the cards at a loss and make cake even more profit for nothing. It's a win/win for the pokersite, lose/lose for the player. That's not how promotions are supposed to work imo. In all fairness, that is somewhat of a scam, although one that online poker players haven't witnessed before on the sites.

Is it just me or does the levels through cake suck. I am on rakeback but if I wasn't the rewards would be truly terrible.

Re: CakePoker / Cake Feedback Thread

I am just shocked USA players play on Cake. I have a check pending for over two months now and their response to emails is I will get it sometime. Why stess about a site that accepts deposits but doesn't accept withdrawls. Has any American recieved a check in the last few months?

Just got one this morning. Requested early/mid March. Patience, IMO.

Re: CakePoker / Cake Feedback Thread

Right affiliate = cashouts average right around 2.5 weeks. 3k/2.5 weeks is good, and when you combine that with dealt RB/rake race, it's hard to see why you WOULDN'T be playing on Cake. Thats why.

Re: CakePoker / Cake Feedback Thread

Having to use the right affiliate to get cash-outs in 3 weeks as opposed to 4.5 months is shady and wrong.

It would seem a little better if there wasn't such a HUGE disparity of wait times, this is not the way business should be conducted and imo shows how far from a legitimate operation they are.

Fwiw my affiliate is one of the 'blessed', just seems very wrong to me.

I requested a check in May and there response was "Due to the current delays we are experiencing with cashouts, I'm afraid we cannot confirm a timeframe as we could not guarantee a timeframe and we do not wish to mislead you."
3 months and no money.

Well it say's 24-48 hours and PS is less than 24.. just sayin'. NON US don't need to be kept waiting a week. My US friends can get there's in 2 weeks on some of the other skins and they are getting mailed checks.

Re: CakePoker / Cake Feedback Thread

This is my last email i got from cake. I think i cashed out in April and i am getting quite sick of this. I worry that cake is broke like tilt was.

If they had the money would they not allow me to switch my account to my german address?

Hello Phillip

Thank you for your email. As your in the states you must use the withdrawal options for your region. Due to the current delays we are experiencing with cashouts, I'm afraid we cannot confirm a timeframe as we could not guarantee a timeframe and we do not wish to mislead you. We are hoping you won't be waiting much longer and we will email you as soon as the funds have been sent. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Kind Regards

Liam

Subject: cash out

Hello,

I have issued a cash out several months ago and have received no words from you on the status.

I would like to get a timeline from you?

What is going on with my money? Would it be simpler to cash it out onto a german bank account I would be happy to provide my german bank information to you.
