Just wanted to update, rec. MB Feb. 5.

You should have no problem as a non-US player and if you put in volume like i know you can you should be able to pick up a pretty decent amount in rake races promos etc.

as long as you start 2/4 tables there should be enough volume to 12 table 1/2 and 2/4. sometimes 400nl+ can be slow to get a bunch of games going though

ya but it doesnt really correllate to drawing more players up to full stack tables. It def brings more players up to 2/4 but they tend to stay at the shallow tables and not move up anymore or play 100bb. This just splits the player pool which i don't think helps anyone as more full games are better and allow the higher stakes to grow.

I have no idea what the effect is at the 50nl tables though and it may be different.

What's the likelihood that I can deposit onto CP with a Visa gift card?

I did that. Keep the gift card just in case you have to verify your cash out information. I didn't though when I cashed out. Better to be safe than sorry though...

Re: CakePoker / Cake Feedback Thread

I have been using Cake1 which works fine. When I try to use Cake 2.0 it doesn't load, just says "Welcome to Cake Poker". I would like to use the 2.0 software since HEM won't work on Cake1.

Anyone have any suggestions on how I can get Cake2.0 to work?

download the latest update direct from the site if you have an old version, that sometimes helps

Has anyone received a call from someone from Cake poker in the past few days trying to get you to return to their site as a customer?

Re: CakePoker / Cake Feedback Thread

Tried to fire up Cake, it downloaded an update, then said it couldn't patch, then acted like it was about to start, then repeated this entire process two more times.

Really brilliant, cake.

no but they sent me a free 10$ to play with.

grinded the shallow BI 4nl tables cause well 5BI LDO, and proceeded to run ~7.5BI under EV in 3k hands. luckily the players are so terribad that even after some of my tilt i still have half the money the sent me in there, so i can donk around late night tonight drunk. it was so insane that i almost thought the site was juiced up to give action flops and ensure all ins. i cant tell you in 3k hands how many times i saw OESFD vs bottom set and the likes. its seemed like it was cooler after cooler.

but they didnt call me at all

I do see cooler after cooler. It's pretty standard. How do you think they keep the donks playing? I cashed out and now I get coolered so much it's awesome.

Re: CakePoker / Cake Feedback Thread

it just seemed odd to me in such a short span of hands the huge pots people were playing and a large number of them were coolers. i really need to go through the hands and see how many flushes and sets and such people had.

obv variance is a factor but it seemed really odd to me

Re: CakePoker / Cake Feedback Thread

wow yeah guys people making flushes and straights must be rigged..

I went to a live game a few days ago and flopped quads twice and rivered a straight flush, all within a 2 hour span.. Must be rigged.
