Re: CakePoker / Cake Feedback Thread

Is live support working? I started at 17th this afternoon. After about 30 mins I was at 8th. It's been stuck at 8th for about 45 mins now.

Is their a reason why you want "Live" support? You should get an e-mail response from support in under 5 minutes usually.

Lava, I just clicked support and that's where it took me. I would have thought that would be quickest.

Over an hour and a half stuck in 8th place waiting for support, I'm giving up for now.

Slow cashouts USA via UseMyWallet.

Slow cashouts Non-USA via Neteller, Moneybookers.

Currently, Cake has slow payouts to everyone and it's been going on for months.
Months? It's been going on for years! If you are playing Cake and don't understand that they have ALWAYS PAID and ALWAYS PAID SLOW then you deserve the frustration that you are currently feeling. Why on earth would anyone suddenly expect fast payouts from Cake? If you did your due diligence you know what you sign up for.

That's incorrect and other long term Cake players will confirm that ewallet withdrawals used to processed in a timely manner. Paper checks times have always been hit or miss but that's understable.

Currently, I'm trying to cashout from UMW to my bank account, but since it will cost me around $50 to do so, I need my small Cake withdrawal (<500) processed.

Simply put, Cake is shooting themselves in the foot. Given the current climate, players want to know if they request a cashout to an ewallet that it will be handled quickly.

All that needs to be done is for Cake to transfer money from their ewallet merchant accounts to players ewallet accounts. If this is done, in the words of the great James Earl Jones from the movie Field of Dreams,

"Ray. People will come, Ray. They'll come to Cake Poker for reasons they can't even fathom. They'll sit down on the poker table not knowing for sure why they're doing it.

They'll arrive at your table as innocent as children, longing for the past. "Of course, we won't mind if you sit down", you'll say. "It's only $20 per person". They'll pass over the money without even thinking about it: for it is money they have and peace they lack.

And they'll sit down on the virtual felt in shirtsleeves with a Bud Light in hand. They'll find they have a reserved seat, Seat #8, where they sat when they were children and cheered their heroes Doyle Brunson and Jackie Chan.

And they'll watch the game and it'll be as if they dipped themselves in magic waters. The memories will be so thick they'll have to brush them away from their faces. People will come Ray."

Transferring Cake funds directly to a US bank account isn't a current withdrawal option and I'm pretty sure it never has been.

You mean the way it was for Stars, FT and Absolute? I'm sure Cake regrets going the processing route of The Big Three.

Re: CakePoker / Cake Feedback Thread

Hello All,

I'm new to Cake and I'm trying to take my money back off there I only have $170 on the site and it says the only way to take it off is through UseMyWallet. I'm not familiar with this and it says you have to be invited to use it. Any help or links that could assist me. Thanks

Yep, definitely paid off for Cake never having e-check withdrawal option. Currently, the only regrets Cake should have is on the lost business they've already suffered and will continue to suffer by not processing ewallet cashouts in a timely manner.

Cake used to process UMW w/d's in a day or two, sometimes less.
