Re: Official CakePoker Feedback Thread

Does anyone know the amount of rake that Cake takes at 50NL and 100NL Heads Up?

Is it the same as FTP, capped at a certain amount, or a certain percentage?

On a side note,

Cake poker support is the best by far. I've played at FTP and Stars before.

Very true. I dealt with them for the first time yesterday and they were very prompt and helpful. Responded to my e-mail within 15 minutes and then every reply after that took 3 or 4 minutes.

additionally, has any US player had any problems cashing their checks?

Nope. I've cashed a bunch of them at my bank with no problems.

Anyway Cake can rename their tables so they arent all just "XXXXX" #####? Has this already been brought up?

Lee, has anyone suggested deep tables? Antes? Are we going to see these in the near future on Cake?

Lee, I'm glad to see things are going to change around there. I really like the gold card system your site has.

There are 2 other very serious points that stop me from jumping back on cake, as I'm sure there are others that will feel the same...

1. Echecks Echecks Echecks. It's sooooooo easy for U.S. players to function this way. None of the stupid **** of having to go get a green dot or pay ewalletxpress a ridiculous 8.8% to deposit in a decent amount of time and 10% to cash back to your account. Bunch of shiesters.

2. If Echecks are out of the question, drop the minimum amount for a check to cut to at least 200.00. 500.00 is a bit steep.

With all your hard work on the software and just adding the echecks option, I truly believe you will notice quite a spike in activity.

Good luck.

Can i have more than 1 account on the cake network?

If so, will they let me transfer money in between the sites?

Yes, but IIRC, you have to have a different email and method of payment for each account.

I believe this rule either doesn't exist any more or is very laxly enforced.

Re: Official CakePoker Feedback Thread

One of the regs on Cake told me that the GC race now rewards people who play the higher limits instead of 50nl and under. Can anyone confirm this?

There has been alot more action up to 600nl 6-max lately, even say a full table of 1000nl at 9-max.

I think the new GC race formula is about as fair as you can get now. Before, it was very lopsided in rewarding the 50 max players. Every week pretty much the entire top ten were .25/.50 players.

So what is the new formula now? It has not been updated on the gold card race page and they didn't inform me about this.
