Re: Official CakePoker Feedback Thread

Timebank and HHs would be nice... but I don't want any good players to join.. so I'm happy the way it is.

Re: Official CakePoker Feedback Thread

my old gpp account rewards/remnants just got moved to "only poker" from century poker like a day after I said I would be looking to try playing on cake. I have some immediate impressions and questions but will just listen to the regs for now. since I have this decent sized gold chip stash suddenly I'll echo any improvements in how they can be used.

the ONLY feedback to cake is: BETTER SOFTWARE! plz plz plz, a time bank would be awesome. you guys will get 2x as much traffic with better software and i almost left because how unbearable it is. other than that they are doing a great job w/ the games, the reward system , and customer support is great too..

I'd like to see the 6 max tables set up as actual 6 max tables not the standard full ring. It looks sloppy the way its set up now

Re: Official CakePoker Feedback Thread

do they really charge to withdrawal?

* FEE: please note that a $35 processing and courier fee is applied to each cashout request. For example, if you request a check for $500, a check will be issued for $465.

Being a US player, I had to go leaps and bounds to deposit, I finally found a green dot visa that would work. After a few days there, I decided to withdraw through Ewalletxpress due to software glitches/bugs/no sound control(that I could find), not liking the software overall.

I sent my request in and I woke up the next day to an email from "Cake security" Stating that I needed to provide them with an ID stating that I live at the address I provided, 2 utility bills, cbc, urine, and marrow sample.

Why does this site need to be such a headache?

I responded to them Informing them that I don't see why it is needed when my info on ewallet and cake match and It was a valid non shady transaction.

I also told them that my drivers license (Photo ID) isn't up to date, I had just moved 2 months ago, and that if I had to, I would send them a pic of 2 util bills from the previous addy and the new addy + DL.

Dead silence. No response. Mailed again, no response.

I just think it's ridiculous. Echecks would help greatly.

And 500.00 for a check? It's like your money is on lock down. Because of this I'd rather play on stars with the somewhat seemless software without rakeback and the nifty gold card thingy to have piece of mind with my money and come and go as I please.

Just an honest opinion.
Update:

Without sending them the info, I magically got an email from cake saying my funds were unlocked and released to my provider.

Odd. Mmmm thank you Mr. Jones?

Um, no, not me. Apparently you and the Cake cashier worked out your differences.

I'm substantially older than you think I am. I hope. Seven stud is definitely on our radar and we'd love to get it in there - it's just a matter of priority. Truth to tell, though, the only reason I care about it is because of seven-stud-eight-or-better (the longest name in existence for a rational poker game). Outside Foxwoods, seven-stud is all but dead. The current crowd seems to dig the speed and action you get from flop games.

Also (and I hope this isn't overly stereotyping anybody)... stud requires that you pay hyper-attention and track all the exposed cards. It's not a coincidence that Ivey is really good at it. I believe that with video games and most modern media we're breeding a society that is good at multi-tasking, but relatively poor at attention span. [1] That doesn't bode well for the health of seven-card stud.

Best regards,
Lee Jones
