Re: Official CakePoker Feedback Thread

The only thing negative about the rake race is that it attracts multitablers who take forever to make decisions. Someone on my table tonight averaged bubble4fun's decision making time at 9 seconds per decision. It's terrible to play with and there are a decent amount of these guys now.

edit: Awesome, thanks for making the fish leave!

Hi Calvin -
I'm only responsible for Cake Poker the specific skin, and not the other partners. So I don't know what the situation is with particular people there - you could ask support at the specific site. That said, I see Eric "Rizen" Lynch in the $1-2 and $2-4 PLO games all the time.

Best regards,

The timer is simply too short. I cannot play on a site that forces you to act so fast. I understand Cake wants to generate as much rake as possible, but this is simply not going to work out for me. Much prefer the time banks of the bigger sites such as PS/FTP..

Here is a question. I've been waiting about a month for a check cashout. It was DHL'd about a week ago and now they seem to have lost it. What or who do I need to contact to resolve this issue???

Re: Official CakePoker Feedback Thread

Used my debit card to try and put 200 on cake and was declined. Today when i checked out my online bank statement there is a charge of 200 to webnetfunds.com but there is no money in my poker account online. I emailed support and they sent my problem over to their cashier. I googled searched webnetfunds.com but cant find anything on them related to poker. Has anyone had that name show up on their statememt when deposting onto cake with debit card. I am in the US

I can tell you that my deposit on cake was initially declined but showed up on my online statement and was credited back by my bank the next day. It was declined because the bank thought that the merchant looked fraudulent, I was able to tell them that I initiated the transaction and it then cleared on the next attempt.

fwiw.

Re: Official CakePoker Feedback Thread

Yes i called the number waiting for a call back they said up to 3 hours. I was thinking that it might charge back to my account but that type of thing shows up as pending most of the time. I have never played on cake and i did not want to call the bank and ask about it because i get wire transfers from full tilt couple times a month and did not want to bring undo attention to my account for online gambling.

I have a check that may be lost from DHL. Anyone ever had to have Cake issue a stop payment on a check?

I play at the 5/10 pro tables 2-3x/week. I've seen Doyle (playing as TEX_DOLLY) and Hoyt Corkins (as HOYT_CORKINS) in addition to the players you mentioned pretty regularly. I regularly play the 1/2 and 2/4 PLO tables as well.

Re: Official CakePoker Feedback Thread

I really like Cake and have played on it since Adanthar won a piece of it. But the software is really hideous imo. It's really hard to access vital tournament information, sometimes I have a bug where every tournament becomes a freeroll where it's impossible to see the payouts, and a bunch of features for convenience are missing. Also need more time bank for cash games!

I thought Cake was working on new software a year ago?

Re: Official CakePoker Feedback Thread

That's it, I'm fkn done with cake. The timer is a joke. The software is a laggy POS. If I'm paying you rake every month I shouldn't have to put up with this crap.
