I dont know how much that equates to per day, in profit for Cake, but wouldn't you have to guess that Cake still makes money? I agree they probably misused funds at some point. Im sure someone somewhere got killed in the stock market. But wouldn't you imagine someone has planned this out, and if they thought staying afloat was a major problem wouldn't they have backed out and ran away before they started paying off a major backlog of cashouts? It just seems to me they are probably doing as good as they were post May 2010. I'd be more worried about another government seizure unless traffic takes another hit at some point.
If I'm correct there are around 58 skins which operate on the Cake network. There may be only a few 100 players that actually play on Cake Poker specifically. That doesn't add up to a lot of monies for good ole Cake.

Below the calm, matter-of-fact air of information in this thread you can sense the rage just below the surface. I'll say what everyone's thinking. We're all completely ****ed. **** you, US Gov't.

Re: Cake Poker Withdrawals

Any theories as to why cashouts from the end of May still haven't been processed, yet the occasional July cashout slips through? for the record

7/7 max cashout U.S. check
p.s.
Any updates on checks bouncing?

I am not sure I am the last May guy. But I am pretty sure I am running really bad in this totally fxxxed-up cake cashout race.

Re: Cake Poker Withdrawals

You might try talking to your RakeBack provider. Mine sent a few e-mails for me. No idea if it helped.

My deposit from the end of August is still OK in my bank account. I think in a few more days, I'll feel better. Still, no instant rejection and 11 days in.

Re: Cake Poker Withdrawals

I asked support to send me a screenshot of the pending cashout in their window and they sent a picture of some chick from California drivers license....only on Cake.

Made a cashout request about a week ago, when emailed for a timeframe, got this reply:

"Hello Tom

Thank you for your email. Our apologies for the delay with your cashout, I'm afraid we are behind our typical processing times at present but hope to be caught up shortly and have your cashout processed soon.

Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Kind regards,
Sean
CakePoker Support"

So they've shifted away from saying "they have caught up". Hmmm...

Re: Cake Poker Withdrawals

Requested withdrawal on May 27th

Sent follow up email inquiring on withdrawal on June 25th, to which they promptly replied with an apology.

Got email today (Sept 9th) saying:

"Please be advised that your cashout request has now begun processing and should be completed within 48-72 hours."
