So I work online as a freelancer from time to time, and I noticed that Cake Network allows people to design their own poker software to hook into their network. Great idea because you can have a lot of players right away.
My concern is that I see people on these freelance sites hiring people to design features for the poker sites, and even make the site software Mac compatible.
I trust the poker network to do its part to keep cheating to a minimum, but what is keeping someone like a freelancer from programming the software with a backdoor or something?
Makes me think that a network like Pokerstars that is exclusive might be safer. Any thoughts?
if its exactly as you say, then yes that is a massive concern. thoughts though? im not educated on the subject enough to have any. (save maybe to say that i hope someone who knows more than you comes on and tells me i have nothing to worry about).
