What exactly is it? I deposited on the site in last September and October 5-10 times through western union. One day while talking to a customer service agent about not having enough cash to deposit the 100 minimum i was told i could use debit card to deposit and would still have the Western Union as a payout option. Over the next 10 months i continued depositing via debit card and withdrawing with western union and periodically calling in to make sure that option was still viable for withdrawing before depositing and was always given the ok. Between September And now July i received more then 20+ payouts from western union from Bovada depositing over 80+ times with debit cards.

This week after requesting a 2000 payout for western union it was processed and i was told it was being paid out via check in which i would receive it within 20 business days. I never requested a check.. Never have never will not with the state of online poker ..Immediately i called customer service stating my problem it was then relayed to payout departments where they said i could no longer receive western union payouts.. out of the blue. no notification no anything. All of a sudden the policy had changed.. I told them to cancel the check because im not waiting a month for my cash. I've paid over $2000 in western union fees and to be denied this right all of a sudden is freaking outrageous. Ive spent over 2 hours on the phone with these people to no avail. Now they say i have to deposit with Western union atleast 5 times and establish a deposit history with them and actually win anything i want to withdraw via western union outside of the 2k already in my account to withdraw to gurantee they wont change it to check again when i request western union withdrawal.

Can a bovada rep please help me.. Can they just do this any go against the word of their own reps which are recorded in coversation guranteeing me that right to withdraw via western union, especially after ive deposited over 3k the last month and a half onto the site..

Are you in the US? Cos it's illegal for them to send poker withdrawals to the US, so I wouldn't be complaining too loudly.

Curious: Do you pay rent on the rock you're living under, or do you own it?

It was a legit question. Im not familiar with WU policies from sites and such. Also asked this in another thread and havent gotten a reply. Do people request WU because there isnt a paper trail with the banks since you are getting cash or what?

Players like WU simply because its fast. Its not illegal to play online poker in most places in the USA or to receive your winnings regardless of the method of withdraw. On the other hand no matter if sites send checks or WU or any other method they pay Americans it is illegal for them to do so under UIGEA laws. They are breaking US laws sending you your money.

If you are trying to figure out Bovada's payout policy, just stop. It's completely inconsistent. They told me that if you deposited via credit card that you could only be paid via check. I did this for awhile and then inquired about Western Union payouts. They said I would need to deposit with this method in order to receive a cashout with WU. I then deposited the minimum via WU. I then asked for a payout via this method and I was told by Bovada that I would need to make a number of deposits in order to be eligible for a payout. They said it needed to be my "primary" method of funding. I bitched to a supervisor and told I was misled regarding the policy. He then granted me a one time payout via WU after listening to me complain, but he told me that I would need to continue depositing via WU in the future. I asked him specifically how many deposits I needed to make in order to be eligible for WU payouts and he would not give me a definitive number. It was quite comical. I then just started to request payouts online via WU and was never denied. I receiveda about 20 payouts through WU and never made another deposit. The point of this is that Bovada's payout policy is wildly inconsistent and depends on who you talk to. I think they make it up as they go along and/or sometimes they dont even know what their payment processors will allow. To state the obvious, I would keep as little as possible on Bovada
