And these accounts were not just some computers running in some basement without anyone looking. At best(worst?) they were bot accounts with someone actively taking control, so captchas wouldn't matter at all.

These guys were not playing at same times that much, though there are some hands in between them. I also looked through all the hands I had where they had played against each other and didn't notice anything suspicious (doesn't mean they were not also colluding and/or softplaying, but I couldn't find any proof of it).

Most of them have higher than avg spread in limits played. It's VERY common among them to have a low (40-45%) fold turn when facing lead after missing flop cbet. Also they seem to have a "lowish" steal % (at least considering ranges for other positions), often about 37 steal %. Finally, why no change of screenname, using vs hero stats? Most regs change sn's if possible on a very regular basis.
I've been playing poker since 2005. My nickname at the party Ant1sotsial. I'm not a bot! I don't won't to change my nickname, because I like that nickname! More than that, I would say that gambler.888 my friend. And the one who made this post, complete moron who can't win at poker money.

@ KrucheVseh

Most russians must really like their nickname at Tea Party then! Jokes aside, my apologies if what you're saying is true. Bots play all kinds of limits so no surprise seeing them at NL2000? And yeah, bots are winning at NL1000, they were even winning at NL1000 3 yrs ago, so go figure moron.

Please before accusing someone of being a bot, collect some hard evidence for it. None of the nicknames is mine (I am not even playing cash), but we do not want to turn this into a witch hunt I hope.

My friend "Villeroi" buyout Monthly keeps a blog on gipsyteam.ru, get blocked by PartyPoker 2 years ago, because he is a bot. And he lost 20k $. He wrote wherever possible! But the money, he had not returned. I am very nervous to this topic.
And most of all enrage comments: "It is the first time in the forum, then it is a bot!" "ha ha! bot unsubscribed!" etc... These trolls can get blocked tomorrow, and then I'll see that these morons will write...

If there is a respectable person on this forum, I'm ready to have a talk on Skype, and provide proof of evidence, the fact that I'm not a bot. My skype "KrucheVseh".

I doubt that Party decide who is a bot based on who accuses people in this thread, particularly when a lot of the accusers are demonstrably stupid.

I'm not an expert in this area, but I have understood that your IP address can be revealed during Internet communications with e.g Skype. The best way around this is to have a dedicated internet line for poker with unknown IP address and a second internet line for all the other stuffs. Another method is to have a dynamic IP address, check out with your Internet Provider to see if this is possible.
This is my confession

Don't take my word that Skype really does give away your IP - I don't use it... I do know that instant messengers (like AIM, Yahoo, etc) can reveal your IP though (but perhaps only in certain cases; like being sent a file, etc).

Better to be safe that sorry.

Very true.

In fact there's almost as much complete garbage posted on robot threads as there is on rigged threads. The only difference is that it actually makes sense that people would write and run robots.

Over the years I've seen countless statements making detailed claims about the number and quality of robots on various sites.

Just recently someone stated that 'even on Pokerstars' there were large numbers of very capable robots.

So, on the one hand we have PS who have access to the hand histories of ever hand the player ever played together with a vast amount of technical information that other players can never see and yet certain other players believe they know that there are large numbers of robots there.

The parallels between this 'knowing' that there are robots and the 'knowing' that the deal is rigged (without, of course, a shred of evidence) are quite amusing.

Of course, there may well robots. My point is not that they don't exist, just that people make wild and statements about how many, where, and their capabilities, with little or no credible evidence.

It's certainly justifiable to voice suspicions about players who play for infeasible numbers of hours per week or groups of players with extremely similar stats over a large sample of hands, but making definite statements based on some 'gut' feeling is not sensible.

Not sure this can help but checking what other games they play may be helpful
(f.e. i play some plo, mtt, fun played FL, tried some hu, husng etc.) Not sure that if a bot can beat 6max nlhe, he will be able to beat PLO! or mtt or smth
I think it will be much more difficult and useless and senseless to make a bot playing many formats, however of course many players stick to some discipline and don't play others.
p.s. i don't know other russian regs from that possible bot list
