Very true.
In fact there's almost as much complete garbage posted on robot threads as there is on rigged threads. The only difference is that it actually makes sense that people would write and run robots.
Over the years I've seen countless statements making detailed claims about the number and quality of robots on various sites.
Just recently someone stated that 'even on Pokerstars' there were large numbers of very capable robots.
So, on the one hand we have PS who have access to the hand histories of ever hand the player ever played together with a vast amount of technical information that other players can never see and yet certain other players believe they
know that there are large numbers of robots there.
The parallels between this 'knowing' that there are robots and the 'knowing' that the deal is rigged (without, of course, a shred of evidence) are quite amusing.
Of course, there may well robots. My point is not that they don't exist, just that people make wild and statements about how many, where, and their capabilities, with little or no credible evidence.
It's certainly justifiable to voice suspicions about players who play for infeasible numbers of hours per week or groups of players with extremely similar stats over a large sample of hands, but making definite statements based on some 'gut' feeling is not sensible.
