This is the type of fun hackers get of on like a calling card they need the mail server to:

Send out spam email.
Launch attacks against other servers. Thus, consuming your CPU, memory, and bandwidth resources.
Install a phishing website on your server to gain access to sensitive information
Passwords.
Privilege escalation(very important)

this list is not exhaustive but you get the picture.

So your simplest explanation is that someone joined 2 + 2 in Nov 2012, hacked Lessu's computer, coincidentally also a 2 + 2er, posted a mildly edited version of one of his emails as the OP, then went inactive?

Seems likely.

I have a new theory. Aliens read Lessu's mind then projected his thoughts into wrongfoot's and compelled him to post. They were going to invade and steal our mineral wealth, but decided to mess with 2 + 2 instead.

I hope the security team at your client/platform are more IT literate than yourself Sciolist.

Lessu should as a priority be scanning for virus, change passwords ect Is OP is a Hacker? but why does every poster assume he/she works for Party?

Party also should be conducting investigations regarding this breach.

You are having trouble comparing what could technically be possible with what is actually likely. I'd have thought that a poker player would have better knowledge of odds than that.

Technically very easy to hack a mail server this site was hacked!I know of three Poker websites that have been hacked one had a lot of staking funds stolen and went out of business.

And for the 2p2 PS same server, there was a seminar I attended in Duesseldorf last September where during part of some exercise when I got Stars and its servers I also got a notifcation that Two Plus Two is also on same server. So i made up eversince that there is some nexus. The roots were going to UK. As my technology awareness is limited I cant throw more light but this is it.

Now in light of the outlandish claims one could just throw this comment away but the questions are:

What seminar/ exercise involves identifying servers also Nexus is an web based e-mail client.Nmap is used by hackers for this for vulnerability detection.
this is penetration testing in other words hacking.

Truthfully I think there is a ton more bots out there - both large stack like jackaroo and shortstack (40BB).

Good to see we are on the right track - but as some have mentioned we shouldn't publicly discuss names. They will cash out funds and create new accounts - these guys have access to resources most normal people wouldn't.

The E-mail was leaked or passed on to OP from Party employee this raises serious questions on integrity and privacy this is breaking law in some country's and makes Partys security look like child.

Some User in the line of communication was hacked.

There were over 90 million registered cyber attacks from Russia last year like the bots this is serious organized criminals making serious money from all types of disgusting crimes.

I do not want to detract from the Bot issue anymore.
I am interested in Partys response if one is coming.

I agree that there are a ****load of bots (or whatever you might call them) left even when Jackaroo and BluDevill have been removed. There are so so so so many 40bb:ers that play extremely similar and who gives you a bad vibe that something is off about them.

LOL, I had completely forgotten that OP was *that* guy. All your post does is provide some pretty good evidence that a hacker is the last thing he is. Post after post he argued that Poker Stars and 2+2 were on the same servers, even though the idea defied all logic and common sense, and then in the post you've pasted, he finally confesses that he really has no idea what he's talking about WRT to the technical "evidence" he said he had.

And that was quite some time after he made similar suggestions with another account:
