You've described the opposite of propping. Props are the people who are first to sit and start games, not the ones who sit later.

One thing that helped me with connecting to bovada is disabling user account control.

The only time I get booted is when my router drops. For some reason my router gives me the yellow triangle with the ! (on the bottom right corner of computer screen).

Disconnecting and reconnecting helps sometimes. Sometimes I have to shut down Bovada.

Does anyone know if a direct connection to the router helps?

I am hoping this is the right place, but I also have some suggestions.

Bodog_Ice I would greatly appreciate your feedback.

I frequent the heads up sit n gos on bovada and here are some things I would like to see.

1)A better disconnect protection system. If a player is "sitting out" in a heads up sng give them 2 minutes to come back (and pause the tournament clock so the blinds don't go up). There is nothing more frustrating than being disconnected for a minute and being blinded out. 60 seconds simply isn't enough time. To be honest I don't even think the disconnect timer works. I have played several people who time out and no disconnect timer goes off so they just get blinded down.

2)Can you please please please!!!! add some heads up tournaments (I have never seen them). Heads-up hyper turbo tournaments!!! Poker Stars used to have a $10 hyper turbo heads up sng.1000 starting chips with blinds starting at 50/100. It would get 400 runners daily. They ran it at 645pm est and 1145pm est. It was my favorite tournament and I know alot of people enjoy it.

3) I find it irritating that you can only register to one hu (turbo) sng at a time for a given dollar amount.

4) I love the anon tables. Especially for low stakes.

5) add more hyper turbo and turbo low stakes tournaments. People playing for $5 a tournament dont want to sit around for 5 hours for a tournament.

THANKS!

I am playing a hu sng right now. It froze and froze the client. I can relog back in but if i try to rejoin the sng in progress it freezes again. Not that big deal as it is only $5 but still it is worrisome this is happening.

Unless they do it all in house, eschew all of the established prop shops, and have managed not to have a single leak in their program to anyone in the igaming industry, then no, they do not.

I will pass this along.

Not that I am aware of, but I will pass the suggestion along for them to take a look.

I believe since I started, there have been 3 heads up tournaments added to the schedule (including one that was added a few months ago). Outside of tournament series events, the heads up mtts have not performed that well and were pulled from the schedule. I'll pass along the suggestion, since that's what I'm here for , but I wouldn't get your hopes up.

I completely disagree. If I wanted to gamble(which is exactly what a hyper turbo tourney is) I would spend my bovada money in their casino.

Bodog_Ice,

How do you respond to the allegations of collusion going on in the 5-10/10-20NL games? You guys need to monitor hand histories very closely to prevent this.

Anybody having trouble signing in with Bovada right now? I haven't been able to sign in for the last hour or so. The little diagonal line just keeps going over the sign in button and it never signs me in???????

what allegations? would help to point to some posts or links...

if what you're talking about is that stupid post in internet poker the guy essentially said he overheard a convo where people were talking about skyping together - and that his evidence is that games fill up really quickly...lol

Hey guys,

There has been some discussion about collusion, so I would like to reiterate the network’s stance:

The Bodog Poker Network takes collusion very seriously, and to do otherwise would be a big hit to the recreational model that they have created. The network has taken huge steps in order to create an atmosphere for recreational players that keep them both happy and safe. In order to keep the games fair and legitimate, Bodog has invested heavily in both security software and security teams. To do otherwise would, at the very least, be a huge mistake.

All allegations of collusion are taken seriously by security, and if a player has any worry at all, they should be reporting that to support. Additionally, as has been mentioned, players have the ability to see the hole cards of all hands that were dealt 24 hours after the hand ends. This allows players to go back and look at hands that they may have any concerns about.

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns... please let me know.

just wondering if its just my connection but i swear bovada screws up my wifi and i have to disconnect and reconnect to start. no otehr website or client does this. I might even far from my router.

It seems like when I have 3-4 tables it happens more and If i want to replay a hand it happens a lot more.

Also why is it If i do get DCed i get booted off but cant join for 5 mins? If its a DC then why should I be penalized?

I only play cash, but was going to use my poker points soon to play a bunch of MTTs one night. Can you use the points for any MTT? and can you only play 4 MTTs at once like cash games?

Actually I think there is a 20 table limit on MTTs. This was recently asked at P5s and I don't think anyone has been able to confirm/deny yet though.

Yeah it's a 20 table limit for MTTs. This was all over the place when they moved to the anon software.

Ice,

In regards to the WSOP satellites. It appears as of right now, you guys will only be running 2 satellites for the Main Event and nothing else: http://poker.bovada.lv/wsop

I thought you had previously mentioned that Bovada was planning or at least considering offering satellites for smaller events like the Little One for One Drop or perhaps The Millionaire-Maker (both in $1k-$1500 range).

I was also under the impression that there would be way more than just 2 satty's for the Main Event. I thought a format such as a daily step system (like Stars has) was a possible option. Overall, I'm really disappointed with what Bovada's offering for the WSOP this year. If there's anyway you could update me on anything that is in the works or pass along the suggestion that we want more options, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks

They're not doing satellites for those, but they're giving 5 seats away to the Little One for One Drop through Facebook and their Zone promotion.

The promotional page for your operator has the correct information regarding WSOP satellites. There will be 2 satellites with 6 seats up for grabs in each satellite.. with any additional money in the prize pool being paid out in $5,000 increments.

I did pass along the requests for satellites to smaller events, but the network decided against those
offerings this year.

I'm not certain where those impressions came from, but if I gave off any of those impressions.. then I apologize. However, there are no changes expected in this year's satellite offerings.
