It seems like WU or MG is probably the best way to deposit as I've tried 2 different Visa cards and neither has worked. Can anyone attest? Thanks.

I have a Bovada Account and I have financed it with credit card. Can I use this same card to load money onto a friends account?

LOL. I certainly hope not. We have all the multi-accounting botters and cheating colluders we need.

If you come back here saying you are legit then tell your 'friend' to be a big boy and get his own credit card, or hell, easier yet, a Netspend card and deposit for himself.

What's next, "can we each play from the same IP"?

Well he is sitting next to me playing $1 tournaments right now and he says he is really enjoying the game. Do we have all of the new players we need in poker? I think not. I trust Bovada to keep people from cheating.

And yes we are playing from the same IP. On Different Tables obviously.

This is perfectly acceptable. The software actually wouldn't let you sit at the same tables.

What if they are both playing in the same tourney? Obviously it would be highly unlikely that they start at the same table but what does the software do if they both make the final table?

This is a very bad idea if you value your account.

So is playing from the same IP with your friend, to a much lesser extent though.

I share an internet connection with a few people that play on bovada. we are all friends and because of the anonymity its not easy avoiding each other. we also do not want to take money away from each other, so luckily the software tells us when someone from the same IP address is already sitting at that table. I am glad the software does this. I do not think this changes anything when it comes to cheating though, people can easily chat on the phone when they are playing from different IP addresses.

Yeah. The reservations I have about your situation is that you are now forever connected to every player that plays from your IP and every player all of those players are associated with in any way. If one of those players ever cheats or wrongs the site, there is a good chance you will be held accountable for it as well.

we understand this, and we have known each other for the longest time. the trust is there. we play in the same room and enjoy each others company while playing. it makes playing online more social I guess. if bovada bans us for cheating somehow, and we know this is not true, then let them ban us, we will play elsewhere. the reason we play there is because there are no player names, so every game starts fresh!

Bodog Ice,

Does Bovada have any plans for limiting the # of empty HU tables a player can be sitting at waiting for someone to sit with them? The HU lobby gets really cluttered when multiple people are sitting at 4 empty tables.

Has this happened to any users with Macbook's or iMac's?

I bought into the 16:45 10,000 Guaranteed SS for $10 + $1 around 14:00. During the time leading up to the start of the tournament, my mind was redirected to make something for lunch/dinner. I heard the 5 sec timer, and rushed upstairs to check my hand.

When I came upstairs, the computer was in sleep mode. I logged into my mac and selected I am Back, except the button would not register. Then, a message prompted me to log back into bovada. I closed the application and tried to reopen the client. It did not open. It acknowledged that I selected the program to start up and did not start up. so, frantically I delete the program/app and redownload the software. (Note: I am sitting out of this tournament, and have not played one hand whatsoever.) Once the program is downloaded I click on Bovada again, and it does not start up but runs the live update screen.

This is the second time bovada app has done this to me and it is testing my nerves. It may only be $11, but the fact this has happened before and I was never reinstated. Not once was I spoken to about my issue with tech support. It's like Bovada is an online poker market that does not exist in the physical plane. If it did, we would be able to speak to a customer service rep and possibly get an understanding on the policies.

I even tweeted to BovadaPoker and BovadaLV, with no response received. Didn't think Bovada just wanted US players to register for a tournament and then they would get shut out of trying to play it

The part that I do not understand is why some of us get disconnected while others do not. Like I said, we are all using the same internet connection.

Another similar problem is when the game is about to start and the table opens, but no players are seated and nothing other than an empty table can be seen.

I'm sure you get this a lot, but does Bovada have any plans to introduce a REAL rakeback program??? I mean I must've paid 90k in rake and my poker points don't do me well=/
04-19-2014 , 12:54 AM
I think they plan to offer it as soon as they roll out the update that allows unlimited tables and removes the anonymity.

Could the functionality of the mouse wheel increase/decrease bet size be extended to work when the table is in active focus instead of having to move the mouse over the bet slider area (which I don't do, just click the buttons instead)? Just let us click the table, scroll, and bet. Please and ty.

Yes, I know this will be troublesome for those who want to scroll and use pop to front (just like enter to bet), so an option, maybe?

link to where it says that that's happening please??

There isn't one, of course.

You might want to do some reading up on Bodog's recreational player model before hoping for things that aren't going to happen any time soon, like rakeback. Or lifting the table limit. Or removing anonymous tables.

Sorry if you thought I meant something was coming soon. It isn't.

I had received an email to withdrawal via Visa card and I selected that option today for my withdrawal but wanted to make sure that it will just credit to my bank account associated with my visa debit card. Thanks for the help in advance.

Bodog Ice,

Does Bovada use prop players or poker shills? It seems nobody is signed up for the type of game I am wanting to play in a sng, but as soon as I sit down it seems to fill up fast.
