No, if he bets $1, then clicks the quickfold button, and then everyone else folds to his bet, he expects to get his $1 back. There are some more detailed hand histories in the unofficial Bovada thread. From what he showed, it appears he gets all the money that was already in the pot for winning the hand, but he doesn't get the $1 bet back, plus or minus a few cents (or perhaps some other portion of the money on the table that just happened to be short by approximately his bet amount).

At the very least, even if they decide they can't retroactively determine which hands were affected (which, IMO, they should try their very best to do so), they need to at least fix it going forward, assuming that the bug exists (which, from the evidence provided, it does).

Just to give an example of the issue, 2 players involved in a hand, player A and player B.

Player A bets $1 preflop.
Player B calls.
Flop: X X X
Player A Bets $5 and hits Quick-Fold immediately.
Player B thinks, and after Player A has hit Quick-Fold ultimately decides to fold.

Player A Wins the Pot of $2, however the bet of $5 is not returned. Ultimately making Player A lose $4 in a hand he has won.

Why is bovada having just 2 wsop main event satellites this year? In 2012 and 2013 there were 9 each year. Beyond this bovada is capping number of packages at 6. Why? I would love t know the reasoning and if this can be changed.

there aren't player to player transfers on Bovada and using paypal is frowned upon on 2p2. GL.

Unless it specifically says BDPO, you should be able to use it after today.

This has been going on for some time, and I am presumably one of a very few that actually quick-folds while other action could still occur. I messaged Bovada Support and they requested Hand History proof of every time it has occurred. Bovada Hand Histories expire after 7 days, and I have played thousands upon thousands of hands on Zone Poker. Giving them proof is impossible, as I have not downloaded my hand histories every week.

Overall this is Bovada's issue, and they are placing the responsibility on me to show proof when their system doesn't allow me to do so now that time has passed. I would really like to be reimbursed for their technical issue and any advice in how to solve this issue would be greatly appreciated.
I've passed this along to the network, and it is being looked in to.

I am not sure as to the reasoning, but there are no plans to change this. Also, fwiw, each satellite is capped at 6, not the total number of seats (so 12 total seats). Also, please keep in mind what I previously said when asked about winning multiple seats:

Once again, why cap the satellite to 6 winners? Why not for every extra 12k there is another seat instead of having remaining money paid out in 5k increments. Never heard of a satellite like this and I want to know why the decision is made.

ok, unless I am missing something there is no tournament anytime in at least the next 2 weeks where I can use my $35-3.50 ticket for the 100K semifinal. This seems unfair.

As I said before... I don't know why they decided to go with that choice.

I imagine that the regular 100k satellites will be back on the schedule this week with BDPO ending today.

Bodugi != bodog. Unrelated story.

My belief is paypal transactions can be easily disputed or reversed.

Am moving to Melbourne in a week. Anyone know if Bovada will work there? Not finding anything conclusive online
04-15-2014 , 05:02 PM
No, the US-only site Bovada will not work in Australia. If you couldn't find anything conclusive on that, you've been looking in the wrong places - Bovada has always been US-only.

I don't believe Australians can play on Bodog either; not certain about Bodog88.

Edit to add: It appears from earlier posts in this thread that Aussies may be able to play casino games (on Bodo88 I presume) but not poker. Perhaps someone else more in the know can confirm.

I'm not sure how long ago it was, but I thought I remember a poster saying they could play on one of the networks, but it was nearly impossible to deposit.

No, you cannot play poker on bovada/bodog/bodog88 in Aus

Hello bovada support. Any chance of lowering the initial timebank of 30 seconds to 20 seconds? So many players timeout for apparently no reason when all I want to do is play poker. It becomes maddening to waste 30 seconds per person.

Is there anyway for a Canadian to play in the States while just visiting the U.S? Support just robotically says we highly suggest you don't play whilst travelling. If I'm there for a couple weeks could I open a bovada account?

I think you'll have major problems cashing out.

Bodog_Ice, can you please provide a list of software improvements that are currently being worked on?
