EDIT: I believe I found the answer I was looking for, but it took me like a half hour of searching online and Bovada support didn't even know the answer.

Please make it more clear from now on, it's ridiculous that I had to search for like a half hour to find the answer I was looking for, and that I had to dig through Playground Poker Club to find the answer. (Who BTW, do not make it obvious how to find their schedule.)

I'm still wondering, if I qualify, am I forced into Day 1A, or can I choose to play Day 1b/1c?




With all of these qualifiers for the Montreal WPT Event, I thought I'd look up the date of the event. It's nowhere to be found. I called Bovada and they told me that they don't even know what day the event is, only that it's in March.

OK so WTF? Of course I'm not going to play qualifiers to an event that I don't when it is, specifically being in Montreal.

I searched for a good 20 minutes, so either I missed something obvious, or this is the worst thing to run a satellite to - because it hasn't even been decided what day it is.

WTF Bovada? Can someone update me here on what day(s) the event is? Because either Bovada is being really dumb by running this or I'm really dumb because I can't find it lol. And I'd like to play some of these qualifiers. I won't, though, unless I can see that I can make it for the live event. I can't go just anytime in March, because I have classes to pass haha.

Official name is the WPT Canadian Spring Championship. Day 1a of the Main Event is Mar 27, final table is Apr 1st. Full schedule here:

lol sorry I have no idea how I missed that... I had called Bovada first and the rep asked me to hang on, then came back a minute later saying that they hadn't been told yet... (Not to mention that the lobby says in March, not no specific date)

Ya I did find it on the other site, but I'd still like to know if I can play on any day, or if it has to be a specific day.

It would be nice to see some incentives geared toward cash game players...just sayin

while I agree I'm pretty sure the thing that lures the recreational players to the site are the mtt promos.

Tell them to come out with a Bovada app for Android for those of us that also use the site to sports bet.

i think i was playing that tournament was it plo8? i gotta tell you its always like that in mtts and it is even worse with plo8 bc of split pots making game longer on bubble. theres nothing you can do about it, fish always have timed out when bubble approaches at bovada and every site ive ever played an mtt on. by now you should have figured out this is actually the best part of the tournament bc you can steal blinds that are very significant at this point and when a guy is stalling you KNOW you can get his chips. i actually enjoy this part of the tournament the best for this reason.

ps. i gotta admit it was kinda funny how the staller and both you guys screaming at him all bubbled.

This would be a bad idea actually. It would lead to many more black-listed players.

Explain. How does it make sense to have a 2K WU max but only 800 on MG?

I have asked this in the past but saw no response, I know about people being black listed by WU, has this ever been reported in regard to MG or are you basically saying that's why it hasn't happened with MG due to the lower max?

I've never had a problem cashing out with a check. It is cheaper than rapid transfer because there is NO fee with a check cashout.....why do you not just cash out with the check methot?

Can you see if they will PLEASE, PLEASE raise their max craps bet? I just cashed out 2k and it would've been more like 10k if there would've been no max cap or at least a max of $300 instead of $100.

I personally don't use the check method because of the chance of it bouncing and/or having to wait to access the funds. I'd rather have the actual cash in hand rather quickly, for a small fee.

Bovada is crashing on me on a regular basis for the past 3-4 days. I never had problems before. I've contacted support and they've suggested I clean up the computer, de-frag, etc etc. It's not any of these things. I suspect that it could be a recent windows update conflicting with the software? My computer is clean of malware, spyware, and viruses. My internect connection is fine. Support has not been helpful.

Anybody else having this issue creep up in the past week or so? If so, any solutions?

Does anyone know how to fix the issue with tables popping up? It's extremely annoying. I know how to turn it off completely but then it doesn't even bring active table up. I need the client to bring up the active table once I'm done acting on current table. Please help. Thanks!

Get "Table Tamer", it's free and will do this.

I've been having a huge glitch issue on my Macbook Air Maverics OS when clicking time bank, it just folds my hand and sits me out from time to time. This has cost me upwards of $1k+ in pot in past few days as well as deep in mtts.

Another poster awhile back had same issue but I only recently started experiencing this. Can we try to get this on a list of issues that needs resolved ASAP?

I choose to run the client via Parallels. Mac client is too unstable.

More random disconnects instabooting me from tables; internet totally fine. They seem to only happen during the hours of 8pm-12am Eastern time.

Someone's servers are getting overloaded, but nobody's willing to admit it.

Think I'm done. The most miserable first month of trying a poker site I can remember. Incredibly slow games, 4 table max, getting booted from tables with solid connection. And on top of that the doomswitches of all doomswitches. I can handle them ok, but when everything about the site is annoying it's too much to stomach. Might just spew the rest of my roll at blackjack so I can at least lose it in a less tilting fashion.

Go play blackjack with the intention of losing? That'll teach em and make them fix the bugs ASAP for sure.

Now I can't even get the Mac client to run. Anyone ever have problems re-installing causing the client to break on Mavericks? Icon has a line through it, says it's not compatible with my computer.
