been a william hill player for too long to remember ive enjoyed all aspects of the site i can even live with what seems to be weeks of bad beats you get with ipoker
but when ppp offered me a deposit bonus (free tokens and free dollars ) you know the sort of thing so i deposit and give it a go .

i check my tokens and find 1 for a 20k depositors freeroll (very much like the one at will hill ) so i take my seat and lose not my best game lol
so of i go back to will hill where i deposit regular and find my ticket for there exclusive 20k depositor token so i think ok try this one great
but only to get a message saying that Ive already played as a different user and low and behold i looked and there it was my ppp account listed in the tourney i was trying to play as a william hill player now they are saying ive played in a depositor tourney with a will hill account ive never deposited on??

if they are willing to go this far to do me out of a tourney token how far are they willing to go to take your money ??

Multi accounting are we?

i have a dead will hill account that could not be accessed and has not for a very long time

so not really multi accounting unless you count the ppp account but they say ppp and will hill are different sits

and how can will hill be telling people its an exclusive will hill tourney when ppp players are pooled into the same tourney i genuinely thought 2 site, 2 deposit bonuses 2 tourneys why would i not?? turns out no !!

Did it actually take place at the same time on both sites and did you read the fine print of the promotion? Maybe it is restricted to one account only as per network rules?

It takes a minimum of research to find out these tournaments are network wide. And it is reasonable one is allowed to play this tournament only once per person. If not, it would come very close to multi-accounting.

Of course, the sites' use of the word "exclusive" is stupid. But that is hollow marketing talk, and it is used a lot in the gaming industry. Get used to it, and teach yourself to not take these words too literally.

what is wrong with you people a big company like will hill should be transparent and honest

i deposited at 2 sites both offering exclusive offers (and i presume that ladbrokes are doing the same thing ) i really thought 2 sites 2 games why would i not ??
will hill c/s have told me that only will hill players can play in said tourney this is an outright lie ..

if your playing depositor freerolls....theres a good chance you wouldn't even know about things like different skins and networks sharing players across dozens of different "sites".

i remember back in the day when I was a noob...I thought UB and AP were different sites and got dissapointed when I thought I'd try out a new site and it turned out to be the same players and games. yes I did a search on the internet before I ended up depositing but even then, if I was given 2 tickets I would assume I could use both of them.

not everyone that plays poker(especially people depositing for first time) have this vast knowledge of everything online poker.

i think making assumptions about the OP here is a little ridiculous...IMO this should be an avoidable problem that the network could prevent, ie. should NOT have issued a 2nd ticket in the first place.
