Hi

Just curious how long payouts are taking for Canadians, and if any of you are facing some of the same problems as the US players (bounced cheques for instance). I personally did a payout recently on Bodog via bank transfer which ended up taking approx 2 weeks, and several calls and e-mails. Basically i initially got a response saying it takes 15 business days for a cheque to be mailed...i responded that I requested the payout via bank transfer not by cheque..several conflicting e-mails later i called and got it straightened out.. i did eventually get the bank transfer, but it seemed a bit sketchy to me how i got different stories in different e-mails..and would like to hear other Canadians ongoing experiences with bodog cashouts..

I have had a bank transfer pending since Nov 29th and have not received it yet. I am getting the exact same run around withe emails etc. I quit playing on the site after the anonymous update. I guess the high volume of cash outs could be the reason, but they are clueless none the less

I'm currently waiting on a cheque. Requested the payout about 7 days ago, first small amount hit my MB account in 2 days.

edit: just logged into my account and checked messages. 3 days after the MB went through I got a message in the cashier (Dec 16th) with a tracking number for the courier that is bringing my cheque.

Hmm Bodog really does it fugged up..

The tracking number I received on Dec 16th shows it as "delivered / (my area code)" on Dec 15th. But clicking on more info shoes it went to TOO MUCH INFO on December 15th.

I obviously haven't received it yet.

Got off the phone with the shipping company (Canpar, never heard of them before). The package was sent as signature required, but it was signed as NSR (no signature required) and marked delivered to my address.

Ok I had 3 DBT transfers pending since 11/27, 12/1 and 12/5. I just received the one from 11/27 today, finally. My most recent contact with a senior CS agent on Sun evening, they told me that there was a 'banking error' that would be resolved within 48 hours. So it seems that was correct and I'm expecting/hoping the other payments will follow through shortly. So hang in there, you should get your payment any day now I would think.

Thanks for this post, you beat me to it- I have been in close touch with Bodog.ca finance and there was a banking error that has delayed some DBT payouts. Thanks so much for your patience and give Bodog.ca a call if you have any further questions!

Happy Holidays,
Becky

Are Canadian having the same issues as Americans regarding payouts? I've heard we currently can't withdraw to Moneybookers/Skrill due to "technical difficulties". Curious about anyones recent experiences.

Sorry for bumping such an old thread but has anyone withdrawn from bodog Canada lately?

They took away Skrill as a banking option and just wanted to know if anyone has any recent experience withdrawing by a cheque or bank wire. Thanks.

I've been told Bodog is really fast with cashing out players. It's not "Pokerstars" fast but you will still get your cashout light years ahead of a Lock cashout.

What are the cashout options for canadian players? Is it fedex check and wire only? Is it one free payout per month? Fedex check is 3k per month, wire probably 7500 minimum?

Is it true they no longer allow moneybooker to deposit/withdraw? If thats the case, how do you deposit bigger amounts into bodog canada?

Just to update, I requested a bank wire payout from them in middle of July. Took 5-6 business days to hit my bank account, good enough.

Only check or wire payouts now, you get a free payout per month. Min wire amount is $3K iirc. No more Moneybookers/Skrill banking option for over a couple months at least now.

You can't deposit bigger amounts, Interac e-Transfers at $1k/day your best bet I think.

Can you tell me about Interac e-Transfers? Can you deposit 1k per day everyday? That isn't that bad unless its like 1k/day and then something like 5k/month limit.

If you request a check for 3k, is it going to be in canadian dollars? I read someone mentioned that bodog its always canadian dollar and not american dollar so then you get hit with the currency fee everytime?

I'm pretty sure you can send $1K/day. It can only be sent in CAD and costs $1/transfer.

Everything is in CAD at bodog Canada, no need to worry about fx fees if you deposit into a CAD chequing account.

which bank do you use in canada? So in order to get money into your bodog account it would be from your canadian CAD account to your interac e account, then to your bodog account?

Here's a Bodog update from Nov 2013

Here are the major checkpoints:
1) Time to process payout.
Nov 5th 2013: Requested payout
Nov 7th 2013: Payout processed, Please note that it may take an average of 7 business days before you receive your payment.
2) Time to receive payout (in my hand)
Nov 11th 2013: Received check via Fedex
3) Time funds are available in my account (ie check cleared).
Nov 12th 2013: Deposited check in my account (Check looked legit from Royal Bank of Canada)

Has anyone playing from Canada managed to cashout using VFF? If so, to which bank and visa card did you cash out to?

I tried to cashout using VFF and they told me my CIBC Visa debit card wasn't eligible for VFF.

Thanks for your help

I created an account on Bodog a few weeks back. I uploaded $50. I played Poker for 2-3 hours.

I was going to try and get serious about learning Poker again, but I realize that I really don't enjoy it very much. I've decided to pursue financial trading instead.

So I request a withdrawal to my bank account, the same account that I used to deposit my $50. I then decided to wait and think things over longer before I move the money off. So I cancelled the withdrawal and waited for several days.

When I tried to withdraw my money again, there was a "minimum withdrawal limit" of $3000 placed on the bank transfer option. I figured maybe it's because I requested 2 withdrawals in less than 7 days, though I cancelled the first one so that doesn't really make any sense.

So today I open up my email and I see this:

Your account has been disabled as it has come to our attention that there are other accounts using information similar to yours.

I remember downloading the Bodog software once before. Whether I created an account or not? I don't remember. I've created a lot of accounts on various Poker sites, so who knows. I didn't have an account listed in my Password Manager for Bodog, so I assumed I never created one.

I certainly know for sure that I never uploaded money to Bodog before, as I'd remember the process. I've always used Instadebit to upload to Poker sites, and that was not an option for Bodog when I uploaded money recently.

I have a feeling Bodog is trying to scam me now because I am trying to withdraw my money so early. They won't make a profit on me, and maybe even might take a loss since I'm withdrawing so early. Pokerstars wouldn't pull this ****, that much I know.

I suspect that my account being disabled is going to prevent me from getting my $50.00. I can't understand how "other accounts using information similar to mine" would have anything at all related to my $50.00. They can go ahead and disable my account. I'm fine with that. I just want my $50.00 back (The actual total is: $48.72)

I forgot to mention that I chose the only other option, which is to receive a cheque from Bodog. I chose that option because of the $3000 minimum.

Oh really, is there a problem with my account? How odd that you happen to find it only now that I'm trying to withdraw my money. How odd that you didn't find it sooner? How come my account wasn't disabled in the 2-3 weeks after I created my account, and before I loaded my $50.00 on your site, Bodog? How come my account wasn't disabled before I paid you rake, Bodog? But as soon as I go to withdraw my money, a problem just happens to be discovered.

I'm not going to send my ID right away. I want to have some fun with these a**holes first.
