Just wanted to warn everyone/anyone who recently deposited checks.

I deposited a check on Aug 1st and on Aug 17th it bounced. Bovada is now telling me the only way to recoup the funds is to have my bank issue me a copy of the bounced check with a stamp on it, which in turn I have to send to them.

My bank said the issuer had "closed" or something like that... kinda fishy as I recently withdrew all my funds and never had a problem with them before.

I am now in the process of getting the bounced check now so hopefully all works out but I would highly suggest doing bitcoin and bitcoin only!

I requested withdrawal of my entire Bovada balance on August 12, and ended up receiving the check via DHL delivery on August 18. Very quick turnaround! It was from a Singapore bank, and came with the following notice:

"TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN. Dear Sir/Madam, This draft has been issued by the bank in Singapore. Kindly note this cheque cannot be cashed. It can only be deposited into payee's own bank account. Thank you."

I deposited it today, so we'll see what happens. Anyone else in this situation?

It probably doesn't feel like it because you got unlucky, but checks have been fast and reliable lately. Bouncers have been few and far between. You can probably find more bitcoin withdraws in this thread that failed in the last couple of months than checks FWIW.

Why are people using checks. I was the most stubborn to change over to BTC.

It's a no brainer; it's free, it approves within hours, so much easier!

Small amount, test BTC withdrawal

Ignition BTC w/d request: 8/15 12:45a
BTC w/d approval: 8/20 12:24a (hit my wallet within a minute)

5 days is still most certainly better than waiting for some Canadian check, of course. But Bovada's recent same-day BTC approvals did spoil me a bit.

I deposited 160 into Circle and Transaction was cancelled.
Was Looking into Coinbase and Coin.Space

More Users are on coinbase but this Coin.Space seems promising

Anyone have any feedback on Coin.Space?

And why do you think that?

Coin.space has nothing to do with bitcoin and is seeking investors to mine for S-Coins.

Google reviews are pretty negative and are basically calling it a scam site.

Called and spoke to a rep who said that they have several cashouts in queue. I asked how much of a delay I can expect and she said ~4 days total.
Have u gotten ur request approved yet? I did mine on August 17 and it's still pending!

Does bovada not play alert sounds when it's your turn to act for anyone else? Ever since they updated software a while back for me, it only plays a sound when there's 5 seconds left to act.

if you have large quantities of money to withdraw then i would suggest moving over only what you need to to play your regular games (or just waiting until 9/30) to ignition.

if the money you need to withdraw is less than around 3k every week, then i think cashouts have been ok for that time frame for btc.

either way, i'd suggest at least creating an account, so you can take advantage of the free early bird freeroll ticket.

also, if you have an extremely large amount to cash out, you could play your regular game on bovada and cashout an extra 3k/5 days on ignition by transferring it when you want to cash it out (and simultaneously cashout the max on bovada) so you're cashing out on both sites.

It worries that me it takes them 3-5 days for a btc withdrawal to hit your wallet on Ignition. Reading this its obvious not everybody has switched over. I haven't yet either. Would withdrawals time take longer when everybody finally makes the switch? I'll stick it out at Bovada as long as i can before i have to switch. But would be cautious of Ignition going forward to see if they get more delayed when more people are withdrawing.

Are Bovada's bitcoin withdrawals going slowly as well? I withdrew on the 18th and the money is still in my client account. When withdrawing from Bovada, they don't give you a message that the withdrawal is complete and they don't send you a confirmation email. Should I call them or wait another day or two?
