I think you're going to have to deposit on bovada using bitcoin in order to be able to withdrawal using bitcoin...

Bitcoin

6/20 requested (money stayed on bovada until processed)
6/22 processed to blockchain (almost exactly 48 hours/early morning)
6/22 blockchain to circle (early morning)
6/22 circle to bank debit card (not in bank yet)

Received a bitcoin payout to blockchain today. The money was there, but now it is 6 hours later and the transaction is still unconfirmed. On blockchain it also says this: Warning! this transaction is a double spend. You should be extremely careful when trusting any transactions to/from this sender

I will not be seeing this money correct? Why would bovada do this? To hold on to their bitcoin longer?

Same as above, when I search my last key in blockchain.info says no transactions so they must not have sent it when they approved it.

this is really unfortunate. i would've hoped they had gotten this taken care of by now. idk wtf they r doing over there, as this has been going on for a month now. may be better to go back to checks and debit card for a while until they get this straightened out.

So it seems like it's just a crapshoot at this point. Some people are successfully receiving the BTC and some are not.

My most recent attempt -

Requested - 6/21 - 3:15 AM Eastern.
Approved - Not yet.

Not very hopeful this is going to work.

I moved btc from blockchain to circle, and in my circle it says receiving $xxxx from an external account. It usually is almost instand but it has been like that for almost 72 hours and money has still not shown up. Anybody know what i can do?

Is there a reason people aren't including ballpark withdrawal amounts? I think it would be helpful to get a better picture of what is going on.

So far I've attempted four BTC withdrawals. First one was for about $1100 and it was a debacle I described earlier in this thread. Had the money returned to my Bovada account after two weeks.

Since then I've done two small ones, sub-$500. Both were complete in about 24 hours.

Most recently requested about $2k 6/21, still not approved.

It seems like there is a trend here of Bovada mostly snap-processing small withdrawals, but dragging their feet / often screwing up the larger ones. But it's hard to tell because many people are not including withdrawal amounts.

Until the transaction received in blockchain has been confirmed, circle will continue to be pending.

Do you mind explaining why you didn't just withdraw straight from Bovada to Circle? I was gonna make a request like that soon. Should I also route it to Blockchain before Circle? Thanks.

Circle will ban you if they figure out a gambling site is sending you money.

I just made my 1st BTC cash out on Carbon this week. When it hit Blockchain, I sent some to circle. That was 3 days ago. Has been pending since. I was unaware that 3 confirmations were needed on blockchain. So all I can do is wait. No idea if there's anything else to do.

How the **** does blowvada screw this up so badly. I mean, I get why checks can be somewhat difficult, but bitcoin??? People waiting 2 weeks for the btc to be refunded to their accounts? Seems inexcusable to me.

Check requested and approved on the 8th. Received today the 24th from north. Tried to deposit at boa, was told check would need to be sent to collections (6-8 weeks wait) and could not be deposited. Personally i got the impression that they just dont know what there doing in there systems but maybe im wrong. So should i let the check be sent to collections, visit a different branch, get a new bank, or try a check cashing place? Any help would be great!!

Every bank processes these differently. It can also depend on your account history. I know with the blue bank that ends in ase they "send it to collections "if you're depositing over 5k from foreign accounts in a short time period which means they don't release the funds for a while and charge 20-40 bucks. Basically even if your bank releases the funds right away that doesn't mean the funds have actually cleared. they do it as a courtesy. And yea sometimes a cashier just doesn't know wtf they're doing. There is one at my bank i avoid like a plague bc they just turn everything into a disaster.

But I don't actually play there and haven't done one since, so I haven't investigated to see if they handle bitcoin in a way that hides the source.

There are other bitcoin gambling sites that use the same deposit or withdrawal addresses. That's bad.

I won't mention the name, but there's a bitcoin poker site that offers tournaments from a larger USD network that has done this. I'm not sure if they still do, but when I tested their site and found out that they sent everyone's withdrawal from the same address I never went back.

Hmm, it must be an issue with the fee being too low so it's taking longer to be included in a block. With a high enough fee you should be able to get in the next available block. Blockchain.info should set the fee automatically based on how high it needs to be at the time - maybe it screwed up.

Unfortunately there's nothing you can really do except wait. If anyone is curious you can PM me the transaction ID link and I can check to see why it's held up. Don't post it in the thread though.
