how many times can the same thing be said?
Actually, I've been waiting over a week now for my Pick Up Info, after my W/D was approved on Jul26. Have used this method several times in the past and usually receive the Info e-mail within a couple days. They say it could take up to 7 business days though, so still holding off on contacting them.

Thanks for the info, glad to hear you received your $ with no delay. I'll contact them now, just thought there might be delays due to multiple W/D requests after the flap over the Forbes.com article but guess that's not the case.

Re: Official Bodog payout thread for US players

PSA for those who don't know much about the seizure: it took place back in January and February. The one in July, which the Forbes article also mentioned, wasn't Bodog's money (I've read the legal papers, Bodog's statement, and the Forbes article and that's my opinion anyway).

So the Forbes article and seizure won't have any current affect on Bodog (other than a minor increase in withdrawals: most Bodog players will never hear about these issues). That isn't to say it didn't make the payout situation more difficult when it happened: it did. But Bodog's been dealing with it since January, not since July/the Forbes article.

I'd say some of that $ in the July seizure was Bodog's...some from FullTilt as well.

Yet checks are taking longer recently than they ever have...and when I say recently I don't mean since February, I mean much more recently.

Re: Official Bodog payout thread for US players

meh was given two 1k checks and they only cashed one of them. kinda a hassle i guess im going to have to find a better location (money transfer)

maybe a moot point though since i will have the rapid transfer option at school, im assuming its worth depositing and switching to?

I am getting payouts via debit card...please note that every time you use an ATM to check for balance , the card charges you for it...

Re: Official Bodog payout thread for US players

The latest check I got from Bodog bounced!

The check ended up being from some pay service called Zip Payments. A couple weeks after depositing my check I got a letter from Bank of America saying that they were taking the money back because the account had been closed!

I've emailed their customer support but haven't gotten any response yet.

Anyone else have this problem???

What are the benefits to using the debit card over rapid transfer? I have a debit card, but I haven't activated it.

That's good news, mersenneary - let us know if the check goes through.
