I received my check today and it is from the north. I have cashed out using the check method several times before, but have always gotten a check from the east. I have always depo'd these in the ATM and have never had a problem. After briefly reading through some of this thread it sounds like this is not an option with a check from the north. It sounds like I will have to take this check inside the bank to cash it. Is this true or can I depo north checks in the ATM also? Any info on this would be much appreciated.

If it has 8 routing numbers it has to go inside. If it has 9, the ATM will most likely be fine.

When I cashed out 2 months ago I could use an ATM because the check was from Shanghai, but last week the check was from Canada and I had to take it to a teller and wait 3 business days before it cleared

States and banks. They will not wire to specific states and banks.

For everybody that is having problems with wire transfer method. Do you just sit there and hope it gets done or have you asked them to cancel and sent multiple checks which would come every 6 days?

FedEx has now resumed standard daily operations in the eastern U.S. which was recently affected by a winter storm. Previous hazardous conditions across the area have subsided and FedEx is now back to standard daily operations.
Sat in TN or 8 days so far....after a couple callls....looks like they are finally going to move it out today.

I've had checks from up north that could go to ATM's. But they had 9 routing numbers. Most of the checks from up north only have 8.

the customer service sucks for the wires
i've had some go smoothly and some take 3-5 months where they have no idea wtf happened

one time i called up and said i'm calling to see what happened to my wire from 3 months ago (gave exact date)
the guy then asks me if i'm referring to a check i had requested the day before and told me i had to be patient as it's only been one day.

they can be infuriating but you'll get your money.

I haven't just sat. Constantly contacted them and called. Also asked their advocacy department which contacted me after several attempts to contact them. All I hear is that they're waiting for an answer from their processor. Which is ridiculous because I sent them my bank statement of account Bank Wire supposed to arrive to but didn't. And that could clearly see that and offer me alternative.
But no! They're making me wait and lose faith in their company completely.
I understand that it's offshore company and it could have issues. But it's this particular company and it's reputation which dragged me in.
Now I have bunch of regrets and think twice before I deposit there again.

Did you have to contact them a lot in between of these 3-5 months or money just become available on your account?
Maybe it's like going through collections once it hits your bank they're trying to see where it's coming from and putting it on hold or something.
I'm trying to stay positive but it's really hard when decent sum of money is hanging somewhere
