Re: Bodog (Bovada) payout thread for US players (DO NOT post bank names)

Actually, I've done MUCH better since they did That (change to anonymous players). I am pretty decent at quickly recognizing player tendencies and that seems to be to my advantage with the new setup.

Re: Bodog (Bovada) payout thread for US players (DO NOT post bank names)

Hey - I got a payout from bovada and took it to my bank (a very large one, possibly the biggest) and tried using the ATM to deposit. It said 'no acceptable checks' were present. It is from a Canadian bank with only 8 numbers in the routing number, Will I be able to walk into the bank and deposit this with the teller without any hassle? Don't really fancy drawing any attention to my account, especially for something less than $1k.

Anyone else had issues recently?

I got a payout, also from Canada (Toronto).

Also 8-digit routing number.

I'll deposit it today at my credit union.

Just walked in and deposited it with no hassle. Apparently funds will be available tomorrow. Awesome if it's this straight forward.

All the others ones i have previously had have been able to be deposited at the ATM so good to know this is easy as well. Now, lets start working on the next one...lol

Deposited it in my credit union today. No problems, but I am a regular customer there for years. So far, have had no problems with a check not going through.

My bank said the same thing, Canadian checks actually only have 8 digits. It will clear once you get it deposited.

Re: Bodog (Bovada) payout thread for US players (DO NOT post bank names)

Deposited a check via ATM. The bank left a voicemail a few days after depositing the check telling me how they want me to call them back and that the fraud department put the check on hold for strong suspicion of fraud. I don't feel like calling the bank back to be hassled with questions. Hopefully they don't put a 30 business day hold on the check to make sure funds clear. I just opened the account with this popular bank a week ago so this might be why I am getting a lot of hassle on it.
